JAY-Z - The Black Album
86

This is Jay Z at the top of his game, his raps exude confidence. Plenty of fun samples on this project as well. Stand out tracks for me are: Lucifer, What More Can I Say, and Dirt Off Your Shoulder

Dave Matthews Band - Crash
76

a fun album to listen to, a great range of high energy and softer entries. also very nice to hear a wide variety of instruments used across the project.

Rae Sremmurd - SremmLife
79

Chock full of songs that can keep a party going. Lit Like Bic sets the tone for whats to come. The rest of the album follows suit nicely with the exceptions of Unlock The Swag and Safe Sex and Paychecks in my opinion. Sure it may lack lyrical substance outside of partying and sex but this wasn't made to be an album that makes you think.

Migos - Culture
93

Each track on this project stands out in its own way. At the time of its release, Migos had rap in a chokehold, and it got tighter with the release of this work of art. The only knocks I can give this album come from the unnecessary DJ Khaled feature, and some weaker track entries in Big On Big and All Ass

Daft Punk - Alive 2007
91

one of the best live albums ive ever listened to. granted, i haven't listened to a lot of live albums but i imagine it would be hard for another live album to make me feel like im really experiencing the energy of the live set.

Weezer - Weezer (Blue Album)
86

A very accessible album that I find very hard not to enjoy. It captures the feelings of teen angst while also having a sense of maturity to it.

Kendrick Lamar - good kid, m.A.A.d city
100

this may be the best storytelling i have ever heard track by track on any album.

Death Cab for Cutie - Transatlanticism
70

A well made album, however the lack of sound variation from track to track lead to me tuning out frequently on back to back listens.

This album is an album that can be reserved for a good mood or a bad mood. Each track has something different to offer while keeping the album feeling very cohesive. It offers something that I can't put my finger on.
