Over and over again, the piano riff shines through as the track progresses, with the bass synth pulsing throughout, drums giving the song it's terse edge, and James Murphy's voice yelling out this song's lyrics in a way that feels like it came right from it's own universe.
Every song, from the gentle folky melodies to the thrashing drums and noise permeating the heart of this album, to the terror-filled quiet, more intimate spaces that are present here all help coax you into the album's journey to blast you with some of the most intense and unforgettable 76 minutes of pure musical chaos and beauty.

This album has so many varied but connected tracks, with the reggae and dub tracks providing such a distinct sense of rhythm and energy throughout the first half of the album, and the dream pop songs spread throughout give it a dreamlike feel unique to this band.
