From an aesthetic standpoint, Miyazaki's Castle in the Sky is not only one of my favorite movies of all time, but it's also just kinda similar to the album artwork. I really do like this project but it feels like a continuation of TFS without changing too much. A more trap and R&B centric selection for the production might have helped in separating its identity sonically from TFS, yet JIDs lyricism still outshines any flaws on the front of how his music sounds. Again, its a JID project which means theres a certain stamp of quality thats come to be expected.
