There isn't much to say about this project.
It's genuinely just a flesh wall of noise, and the vocals are trying to fight themselves out of their mess. Wonderful Rainbow is so ironic to how harsh and brutal this project is, it's good though, albeit it drags a bit. Otherwise hell yeah

Lil Pepper
Obviously, R.I.P to the guy. Nothing I write will ever be malicious towards him and it hits even harder due to how much he struggled for so long until his OD.
I won't review things that aren't in his vision after his death, so the newest DIAMONDS album essentially. The thing is, that won't stop me from criticizing this project. I'll start with the positives of this project. He knows how to make extremely fucking catchy songs on this project. crybaby as the opening is an amazing ... read more
This project is smokedope on his beat production so far
He needed that IM NOT GOD BUT I WISH I WAS production back, it works fucking amazingly with his voice, and it's unique asf. This project delivers what was missing in both of dope's departments production-wise. The beats are floating above the clouds, they feel hypnotic in a sense and Smoke has this perfect tonal pitch in his vocals to mix through the cloudy production, like almost a stoner pushing through the high. It's usually a drawl ... read more
DISCO died a long time ago HEALTH
This is a strange project due to bringing in a lot of big names throughout the differing spectrum of genres. You get JPEG 3 tracks away from Xiu Xiu like who the fuck does that? HEALTH does I guess, which I find enjoyable. I looked at this project skeptically but honestly, this is more fun than I thought it would be.
So, I am new to HEALTH and don't really know about their previous albums which range lots of spectrums, but what I know is that Part 1 and Part ... read more

Pays for Programming a 2nd time.
What the fuck is up with some of the titles, they're screwed with 0 spaces and even the commas look ugly as hell. A gimmick that just looks ugly personally. Well, what do I say about this mixtape, it's got 25 tracks with a seshradio_volume I don't necessarily care about, so that throws away 25 minutes. Some of these songs are boring as fuck and go extremely quickly with either a random cut-off like he did on TeenWitch on some of the songs.
I will say ... read more
Classic Midwest Emo
Mmm...I love me some corny Midwest angst. The guitars sound fucking amazing, the drums go hard as fuck. The lyrics are depressing and melancholic like a variety of tracks from this genre, but fuck do I love it.
7.9/10 Dear Midwest Pen Pal, wanna do it a 2nd time?
Let me put it this way
This score is reflective of not having an appeal to the jazz instrumental aspects of this album. If it was the lyrical songs on this album, this project would be wayyy higher, but mixing in some boring jazz instrumentals on this project just kills the low imo. That was Celesta's shtick before having more lyrical tracks though so I can't fault them for that, I just never gravitate upon the jazz tracks unless they actually have vocals on them like a McKinley of sorts. ... read more
Busta man...
What the fuck happened to you bro. It's like hearing Bollywood the album. Holy fuckkkkk this shit is so boring and bland compared to your classic works with interesting beats and concepts. You don't work on these beats, these generic trash-ass trap beats that have 0 substance to them with features of straight ass. I feel like I'm submerged in yogurt from how goopy this shit sounds. Pharrell and Timbaland are on this too and the beats are fucking awful.
This is full of the most ... read more
Quantum seriously keeps going for all these scraps in the scrapyard.
So this guy right, he keeps coming back to the scrapyard and only takes 2-3 items at a time. I've heard he's building something outta them. I'm gonna go check it out...
HOLY SHIT I FELT LIKE I HAD JUST BEEN RAPTURED SPIRITUALLY

Q-tip picks up the scraps at the Scrapyard a 2nd time
For some reason he really likes coming here, I wanna know what he's gonna be building with it ngl.

This project provides nothing up to standard past this snippet.
Genuinely, give You're Nothing a listen after this project, then Plowing Into the Field of Love. Those 2 projects spike in terms of quality like a stock market boom. I wasn't expecting to like their projects after this one because this is a crazy slog to push through. The sound of punk from this project isn't expanded upon at all, rarely you get experimental lights from this LP. You turn it on, run through 24 minutes, and come out ... read more
I tried it.
And I can't get into a sound as ancient as this. Well, it isn't ancient, but it's definitely aged. I wanted to get into more of an industrial sound lately since I've only experienced so much of the genre but it's hard due to how little is "actually industrial". Examples of NIN and Ministry clocking in right here.
That is to say, this has significance to the maximum, the problem? The sound is to the minimum. I was listening to the project without a significant emotion ... read more
Superplastic
Is how this album feels. It's like microplastics in your body the album because it gives nothing.

Yeah I rated SOUR by Olivia Rodrigo higher than Rodeo by Travis Scott
Eh, what can I say, I just like to shit on terrible albums . But actually, I think SOUR is a solid performance from Olivia Rodrigo. It's a pop performance, which isn't gonna warrant so much since I'm such a stingy black metal, indie rock, cloud rap idiot who hates pop with a passion, but these guitar/piano ballads aren't half bad. I truly do enjoy these songs aside from their teenage break-up writing that comes ... read more
Rodeo by Travis Scotchtape is as plastic as the album cover.
I genuinely don't believe this project starts until 90210, I'm sorry but I've never been a fan of the trap sound as such with Future and Quavo. It gets tiring immediately and I just wanna turn the volume to 0% because I've tried for years and I've given up trying to even give the time of day to understand what's so great about the sound. The thing is, that expands a good amount of this project, not all of it so don't think I'm ... read more
You can square Melancholie?
That would suck ass because that means you just squared sadness. Nooooooo.
Well yeah, black metal; I love it, more specifically these types of atmospheric black metal albums with very specific melodies, ideas, and sounds. Coldworld gives a great idea of what it feels like to be in the boundless areas of a cold wasteland. It reminded me very much of Metro Exodus in the idea of wandering through the destroyed and cold rubble of post-apocalyptic badlands. The vocals ... read more
Sumner Loner </3
Seraph is Summer Alone's most consistent project by far, which is saying a lot or saying not much at all if you wanna interpret it in any sort of way from his catalog. There are real stand-alone bangers on this project like the opening track Dear Azrael opening to this haunting opening riff before becoming that shoegaze emo range that has been popular for about a year, but mixed with Summer's usually pitched and echoey vocals he's usually known for. The mix does sound like ... read more

Well, this is my first Bring Me the Horizon project that isn't being memed like Can You Feel My Heart so I think I am doing well in diving into their discog slowly. Considering the first instance of this project, I already knew YUNGBLUD was gonna be a stain on Obey, like holy fuck. Corny-ass disgusting mf man.
The sound is amazing on this project, the metalcore instances being flushed with a lot of genres and changes as such with Itch for the Cure melding into ... read more
The features on this project are straight ass.
That doesn't mean that $uicideboy$ produce some ass on this project too, albeit this is more of a cohesive project than 7th St. I've genuinely enjoyed some of the songs on this project, was happy asf when I figure that out.
Dear god though they still have that stupid autotune crooning on some songs while others have such basic monotonous ass beats that they sound like they don't care. You could make the song in 10 hours easily, fuck it even 5 ... read more
