holy shit watching the reviewslop accounts try to make puns about this album being bad is annoying the fuck out of me
Listened to the 2009 Vinyl reissue cut by Kevin Gray, it's audiophile quality and sounds absolutely amazing. And it's in print. If you own a turntable, run out and get it.
I am 23. I loved this album when I was a kid. I still do. There are some seriously amazing tracks on this album, outside of Basket Case and When I Come Around. It's a tight ass album with ... read more
I feel like larry david asking for a "vanilla bullshit latte cappa- whatever" anytime I listen to a "post- something" album, but hot damn this one immediately grabbed me as being fantastic.
This and pink floyd live at pompeii are the best live albums ever recorded. The quality of recording is absolutely incredible and set a new standard for live music in general.
one of the most entertaining and funny things you can do while listening to this is try to growl along to Willie the Pimp. Every single time you end up sounding like an idiot LMAO
Considering this was a rushed contract obligation and sandwiched between some of the most iconic rock albums of all time, its fucking psychotic what a high quality record this is. This is by far the most technically impressive album they put out. And I'd argue the best in general. Every track is SO damn tight and impressive. The guitars are wonderful and the album is taken in really interesting directions. This is a turntable favorite of mine.
the death of an artist. not a very good artist, but an artist.
hits are straight shooter bangers. Deep tracks are just solid. Definitely weird to hear such a good album from such a shit on band
feels like a third entry in the acid rap/coloring book trilogy. What an immense return to form. So happy for him. He's put out great singles like yah know recently but this is fucking amazing minus a middle hiccup.
as someone who hated chromakopia, THIS IS WHAT IT WAS MISSING. The samples of 90s/2000s classic sfx give this kind of a future nostalgic feel (not the shitty dua lipa album, the term)
Anyways, huge return to form. I'll definitely be relistening quite a bit
I generally really like travis' music but man. When the 'why you acting sus' song wouldnt sound out of place on your album, it's time to rethink the sound of it
frontloading her verse and doing this right after anxiety is really not helping doechii at all man
