I saw people dear to me cry for this album and above all for the meaning of it. Probably one of the best ever, from the songs to the cover.
MEANING.
I think the only way to listen to this album is all in one go, and for this reason it will perhaps be a bit heavy. However, I love the message it wants to give: the pyramid of society, with the pigs at the top, the dogs that brutally try to make their way and the sheep as the unaware people.
PROPHETIC.
Great rock album, I like the sound of it. There are many songs that have made the history of the genre. The thing is: I can't stand Axl Rose's voice, it's probably me but I think it's too shrill. I think that if Miles Kennedy had been in his place, they would have had triple the success.
POWERFUL.
I mean, it's a good album, beautiful production, good bars. I just don't think it's a top album. Let's say it sounds a bit like Frank Ocean but more hip hop.
ENJOYABLE.
I think this album is too underrated, no one ever talks about it enough. I discovered it in a particular period of my life and I often connect it to it.
UNDERRATED.
