Yup, It's Foo Fighters alright.
A lot of the songs develop into a soup of the same shit. Blaring guitars, distorted vocals, Dave Grohl screaming. It's just all the same
There is some listenable music in here, but Spit Shine is a song that should have never seen the light of day. Seriously, It's just awful. This entire album leaves me one question. Is this how much Foo we can fight for in 2026?
Good groove metal album. Gets boring towards some points, best stretch is probably from track 9-13. Lord Humungus is probably the best track.
My first metalcore listen, yay!
I'm a metal guy at heart, it's basically all I listen to, so to see a metal album at #1 in critic rankings made me giddy. This was a different kind of metal, at least for me. See I've always been the type of guy that listens to the thrash-inspired stuff and post-grunge, if you consider post-grunge metal. SOMEHOW this album manages to be bloated at just 32 minutes long. This does not sound like it took 3 years to make.
