The beats save this from being totally unlistenable. On so many of these songs Drake sounds so lifeless and sounds like he’s totally given up. He never seems to add anything to any of these tracks, his vocals and rapping are always either completely bland and unpleasant or made to sound awful thanks to whack auto-tune or off-beat attempts at flow.

I’m so confused, this album has two ratings, one being a 100 and one being a 0.
How does the total user score end up being 5? Shouldn’t it be 50?
I was surprised how complete this album is. It has a lot of different styles, different emotions and a lot of good songs. None of it is even bad at all, just some of it doesn’t quite fit my style (too basic rock without that much substance). I feel like the first half of the album suffers from that a little bit, but it really isn’t that big of a deal at all, I can’t knock the score down that much just cause it’s not fully my style.

I’ve had a while to sit with this album now, I’m kinda amazed at the replay value already. This album is going to age brilliantly, it fits every mood. It’s upbeat and revives the dance-pop style we all know and love, while also exploring a lot of very real and tough topics (is there someone else or not?)

This is a really great single, I don’t know it in the context of the movie but as a standalone song I love it.
It has a beautiful, melancholic feel to it with the piano and emphasised vocals with a quick build up to the chorus, where some real emotion kicks in.

There’s a fair bit of beauty here, I don’t always mind mellowness in music (in fact I usually quite like it). Here it’s probably a little excessive, some tracks (especially in the second half) really just don’t hit the spot. I can still appreciate what this style does bring to the table though. There’s enough here to keep me interested.
The theming of drugs and love hits as usual, but does start to get a little bit repetitive. A lot of songs I found quite unmemorable due to very basic production and nothing lyrically to help them stand out. However, within all of that, it’s Juice, so of course there are moments where the emotion really comes through and you get sucked in.
