It’s a nice listen but can fall into feeling same-y and predictable at times. Lizzy experiments more in production but that makes the tracks that don’t have interesting production stand out more in a poor way. I also feel that the album can feel a bit melodramatic and like fanfic occasionally- a bit of the less good part of Pheobe Bridgers where it can describe things just to describe them. Still— Lizzy has a bunch of good tracks here and it’s a nice experience overall ... read more
While Sampha's vocals are still beautiful here, the track is a bit basic and frankly, Romy's vocals suck here. Worth a listen for Sampha's voice tho.
Wild new direction from Tyler but it’s super cool. I have a better picture of the album and I’m very excited to see where it goes now!!!! I kept listening to it in a row but after letting it sit for a bit it's a good bit better. Feels kinda wild and great.
Cute little EP-- def underdeveloped at times but sweet while it lasts.
A personal introspective Connor song with a really nice soundscape that's about 20% away from being a cliche NF-type song, but manages to work quite well as a whole.
A very nice project from La Reezy. With dazzling production and thoughtful lyricism, Reezy separates himself from almost all other artists in his age range, with the maturity of a fully developed artist. Some songs drag a bit like Growing Pains, and at 23 minutes with 2 interludes this isn’t really an album, but shows a great amount of growth with some amazing stand outs like Ya Feel Me and Look at Yoself.

The more I hear it the more I dislike it. Both generic and bad within being generic, this one sucks.
Just the same formula from them again with a weak beat and weak bars. Connor's gotta switch it up if he wants to have continued success. Like bro, "Let me cook"? Corrrrrnyyyyyy. Basically has the beat of the John Wick song he did and has a weird outro too.
Not a fan of the verses but the hook and production is nice. Not the direction I was hoping for after Lecrae's excellent last song, but still nice.
I miss the old Coldplay, straight from the 'Go Coldplay
Chop up the soul Coldplay, set on his goals Coldplay
I hate the new Coldplay, the bad mood Coldplay
The always rude Coldplay, spaz in the news Coldplay
I miss the sweet Coldplay, chop up the beats Coldplay
I gotta to say at that time I'd like to meet Coldplay
See I invented Coldplay, it wasn't any Coldplays
And now I look and look around and there's so many Coldplays
I used to love Coldplay, I used to love Coldplay

SAMPHA THE GOAT
My real rating is 90 but I didn't want it on my year end list.
Less ambitious, but more soul-filled overall than Songs in the Key of Life, Innervisions delivers a wonderful palette from Stevie.
Not a Carti fan but this was a sweet verse from him. The Weeknd sounds good here but his part feels overlong a bit.
Sweet track. Samara Cyn is a voice exact sound of Doja Cat in this song tho. Really good vibes.
A marginal improvement over Love Deluxe, but I do not get the Sade hype. Languid as a whole and really sonically is almost no different from Love Deluxe apart from some better drum sections. They both feel so simple and somewhat uninspired (apart from lyricism) that I can’t see why anyone would do more than like them. Like it’s good but not getting how it’s excellent.
