Just found it a tad boring and not really all that exciting. At least compared to the other incredible albums this band has put out. I like the textures and the washed out singing, but not a lot of anything else.
Yeah it’s corporate. Yeah it’s safe and basic and not all that revolutionary. But I turn my brain off and like how it sounds. I fully give credit to the house part of the album for it being anything at all really. It sounds like there should be corporate artstyle people walking around and trying to convince me why I should use google ai.
Pretty amateur and cringe. It has its charming moments, but it just didn’t grab me all too much
A really unique, relaxing vibe for a house album that isn’t boring. It still has a little pep in its step and isn’t afraid to be itself. I would love to listen to this when the party is just about to wrap up.
Remarkably simple yet timeless in sound. Jack white is a genius and meg does some good pounding on the drums. Good job guys
Probably the best pop punk album I’ve listened to. It’s not annoying in my opinion, it goes crazy. The vocals work well with how ferocious these guitars and drums are. With instantly catchy choruses and verses that aren’t dead on arrival. Really enjoyed this album, which I didn’t expect to say.
A really really stunning album. The singing is great, the production sounds lively and vivid, and I can tell how much passion went into this project. These songs are all beautiful, thank you Mojave 3.
Didn’t love it, but I enjoyed my time. While I found it to be fun, I think I do prefer Aesop in that more serious lane, with harder hitting production and his signature how the fuck did he think of this lyrics.
These guitars are beautiful wtf. Same thing with the rest of the album actually. Even the singing. Which I didn’t expect going in. This is awesome and will keep me coming back.
It’s like blue if it was just not as good. I know I should be looking at this album as it’s own thing but it’s really hard when it does do a lot of what blue does but just not as beautiful sadly. If I hadn’t listened to blue then I probably would’ve liked this more. Sad.
This song is really annoying with nothing lyrics and really annoying vocals with production that doesn’t do anything to help those issues
This is a perfect album to listen to before the first day of school. Not only reflecting on your summer, but also your life. It’s truly beautiful. I know mark is a piece of shit but his singing and songwriting speaks to me on this project. Couple that with how he plays the guitar and it’s a match made in Heaven. Dare I say, this album needs just a little bit more love.
Where are the gorillaz?
I know that’s misleading, but this album even with them is just uninteresting pop music. Only peaking interest in listeners when there’s a whacky feature on it. The feature itself doesn’t matter, but the fact that the feature is on this album does to the band. It’s weird. I miss plastic beach.
Jazzy, happy, beautifully produced with beautiful vocals. Just an awesome time and a great swan song for summer.
Completely generic and wallpaper rock music with zero personality or charm. I don’t get the hype behind R.E.M. They just seem like an average band who had some big hits and people just ran with that and I don’t know why.
