Billy Joel - An Innocent Man
42

This album is both boring and very annoying and frustrating. The sound it’s going for is just boring and you can get it anywhere else. Billy’s voice here is also very annoying at points, especially on uptown girl oh my god. But it’s just a low quality plea for relevance at the end of the day.

Post Malone - beerbongs & bentleys
73

I liked it. Yeah it’s long and drawn out, but these songs have great production, catchy hooks, solid bars and features, and a strong emotional core backing everything up. I really did enjoy it.

Geordie Greep - The New Sound
95

Erm… this is a pretty new sound!

But fr though this album is incredible. Fun, zany, produced excellently, sung great. This could only come from the batshit insane mind of Geordie. Everything just falls into its proper place so nicely it’s a beautiful sight to behold. I will definitely come back to this album again and again and pick up on new, incredible things.

Linkin Park - Hybrid Theory
66

When it’s being metal and melodic, it’s awesome.

Panic! at the Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out
58

Feels like it’s trying to be apart of this movement rather than leaning into it. These long ass song titles and sometimes annoying vocals and lyrics really emphasize this feeling. The production can range from fine to really good. But overall, a heavily mixed bag. I don’t know why people hate this album, it just feels average to me.

Kygo - Cloud Nine
47

A lot of these songs sound the exact same to me. Wether due to the structure or similar sounding production or both. But it wasn’t the best listen in the world.

M.I.A. - ΛΛ Λ Y Λ
86

Super bold and brash. Goes crazy and M.I.A. is a really interesting character. Both in terms of how she produces and how she writes. Fascinating album all around loved it a lot.

Gorillaz - The Now Now
50

This is the most who cares album of all time

Charli xcx - Pop 2
88

Actually really really liked this. It felt new, exciting, and refreshing. Which is weird considering how this album came out seven years ago. That just tells us how important and defining this album really is. Give it a listen, you won’t regret it.

quinn - quinn
79

It has its problems, but it’s such a good world builder and just has something I’ve never seen from other album. Idk what it is but it’s fascinating. This rating could go up in the future, but we’ll see. It’s short, to the point, sounds great a lot of the time, and only really broken up by the spoken word parts. Those parts aren’t as good, but they make the album that much more unique. Good job Quinn.

Future & Juice WRLD - Future & Juice WRLD Present... WRLD ON DRUGS
52

The most who cares collaboration I’ve ever heard probably

Joji - Nectar
71

I think this is an immense upgrade from joji’s last album. The production sounds better, the features do great, and some songs really stand out as melancholic bangers. But there’s too much uninteresting, dull filler that doesn’t do anything for anybody. If he knows what to cut and what to keep, he could improve tenfold.

Elricfd - slowdive into
87

Yeah it’s not original. But it still sounds great. I discovered this because these guys uploaded certain eccojams on Spotify so I’ll always appreciate them. So giving their music a shot was the next best thing to do.

Laraaji - Ambient 3: Day of Radiance
65

I like the ideas this album has. I think the first movement is quite solid. But it doesn’t stick the landing. It just kinda meanders into nothing. Which for an ambient album, isn’t really a desirable trait.

clust.r - clust.r
67

I enjoyed it well enough. It’s groovy enough, well produced enough, and interesting enough to keep my brain interested. It’s just enough, not exceptional.

Billie Eilish - WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?
44

I just didn’t really find myself connecting with Billie here. This album just seems so theatrically sad. With production that reminded me of Melanie Martinez at some points. The whisper singing is obviously a gimmick. It’s inoffensive, but I would prefer its absence in all honesty. I just don’t really see the hype in this album. It’s pretty mediocre.

Deafheaven - Roads to Judah
89

A hidden gem honestly. It’s a gorgeous album with all the same qualities that made sunbather what it is. Just a little more amateur and slower paced, alongside a shorter runtime

Macintosh Plus - Floral Shoppe
72

It’s a good album with lots of beautiful moments all chopped and screwed up. I probably should’ve gone into this not expecting another eccojams because I kept on comparing this project to eccojams because it’s better. I still like this project though, it’s just a different take on the same general idea.

Aphex Twin - Syro
85

Really impressive that he came back with this album. I don’t think it’s on the same level as his others, but it’s hard when you’re the most critically acclaimed electronic musician of all time. This album did what it needed to do. Show the world that Richard still has it.

Miguel - Kaleidoscope Dream
78

Some really solid rnb that is very front loaded. The latter half isn’t bad, just kinda boring.
