Some absolute jammers on this album. But it runs long with some really unnecessary songs that don’t really add anything. But it was good and I did enjoy my time with it
Eh… it’s alright. It’s very weak compared to what the band has previously done. With less interesting concepts, production, and overall just sticks with me less. With some obvious filler thrown in there as well. Real shame.
Lots of great, beautiful songs on here. But I feel like a lot of it is just uninteresting slowcore for me. Maybe the original songs are better. I am intrigued to find the answer to that question, at least.
He’s gonna make something phenomenal in the future, I can feel it.
It feels like this should be horrible. The rapping isn’t amazing, it’s long and takes its time with weird ambient breaks. But it works. The strange world this album creates is something I’ve never heard before and I don’t think another album like this is ever gonna come out. It’s just so singular and hyper focused on what it is and its vision it’s really insane.
Well produced and to the point. I don’t care about what he’s saying but he’s saying it with cool enough flows to keep me interested for at least fifteen minutes.
Actually a pretty decent album. But clearly a noticeable downgrade from everything else he’s done. The mystique around these albums are gone as this one is very commercial and not very cloudy in general. Which is sad.
An insane mix of heavy guitars and pounding drums that is truly dizzying to dissect in a regular manner rather than just jumping up and down and nearly shitting yourself
The singles all grew on me with how they form in this new album. Not caring about being anything other than pure raunchy bangers. This tape is great in a completely different way than something like melt my eyes. Showing us how great and creative denzel can be. ULT don’t fold.
This album is a fascinating deep dive into one of my favourite bands of all time and how they started out. Freaky, weird, and not well recorded or mixed. But intriguing nonetheless.
Given this artists most popular release, I thought this was gonna be a decent, yet overrated and heavily flawed project. However, I wouldn’t say that it is. This album finds pockets of electronic beauty throughout and fleshes and builds them out very well. With the absence of obnoxious vocals helping that rhetoric out. But it’s nothing absolutely essential or mind blowing. It’s been done before, it’s just a new take.
A very, very refreshing take on pop punk that sounds excellent all the way through. Great production with great and energetic vocal performances to take the forefront of these sadly beautiful songs.
Weirdly, I found myself disappointed with this album. It’s good yes, but also I feel like it’s just not as beautiful, inspiring, and breathtaking as the bands previous other home runs. The more prevalent vocals add to this feeling, as they were always my least favourite part of the other albums. As well as the lack of beautiful, heart pulling strings. Close, but no cigar.
Short and to the point. Creating that hazy, dark, and hard to describe atmosphere dean is most well known for. Some songs don’t feel fully fleshed out but others thrive in this type of album.’
Absolutely beautiful work right here. Everything just falls into place and creates this melancholic masterpiece of an album. It doesn’t drag, it’s not too slow. It’s just right. Which is hard to pull off in a genre known for being inherently slow paced. I’m looking forward to falling into this albums atmosphere again and again.
