It's impossible to follow up an album like TPAB so of course it's gonna fall short compared to like the greatest album ever. DAMN probably has something for everyone though so it's definitely worth a listen
what happened to you bro? this is one of the most forgettable albums I've ever heard
This used to be one of my favorite albums ever but I guess my taste has matured since freshman year of high school. Looking back, HEROES & VILLAINS does really have a lot of quality in it and it was absolutely iconic for the era it released in. So many memories of my first two years of high school are tied to this album and its pretty consistent tracklist. We would blast Superhero, Too Many Nights, Trance, Metro Spider, I Can't Save You (that transition used to get me and my friends so ... read more
It could be worse but it also could be so so so much better and I'll probably never come back to this tape again
I wasn't the biggest fan of WDTY but I still think it had its moments and redeeming qualities. WSDTY, however, has maybe a handful of okay songs with one or two highlights throughout the entire hour and a half that it takes away from you. I'm not gonna say much more but this album isn't worth your time unless you're a diehard fan of Future
BRO THIS ALBUM IS SO DAMN......okay.
I remember how much hype there was for WDTY when the initial announcement and then release date came out. Genuinely everyone I knew that listened to hip hop at all was freaking out and waiting for midnight on Thursday night. I get to school the next morning and all I'm hearing is how Kendrick threw shots at J Cole and Carti had the best verse of all time or something (considering that year of school was like the peak of my Carti listening, I pretty ... read more
It has a handful of good songs but there's definitely some mid in there too. Whole, Covet, Bad Apple, and Black do a lot of heavy lifting compared to the other tracks, which are okay at best
Possibly my favorite piece of music ever. They took everything good about Flood, made all that better, added a sickass guitar solo that makes you ascend to the 11th dimension of reality, and then shortened the part that was too long and was holding the og Flood back from being perfect
This album is an absolute masterpiece in the atmospheric black metal scene, the riffs are immaculate and pack so much power and meaning. The mixing is perfect on here and the vocals do very well switching between clean and rough, it's genuinely everything you could want out of a black metal album.
πππGEM ALERTπππ
i'm so sorry this took so long ππ
Anyway EP so good it brought me back on this site π₯π₯π₯
I don't usually like ambient music when it's just that - ambient. I just find it boring a lot. When it's incorporated into other genres, it can be done very well and I enjoy that, but I'm not usually a fan of straight ambient music (unironically except Quad, no glaze tho). I know it comes off as uneducated to say that ambient ... read more
it took me multiple listens to understand but man was it worth it
worth every delay and all the hype, it's his most versatile project yet and shows what smokedope can do beyond just hype bangers
great collab, you've got one of SD's best songs ever and then a bunch of other tracks ranging from pretty good to really good for his standards
This would be a perfect album if it didn't drag a little tiny bit at the end
it's peak son it's peak
not gonna say much but this is everything you could want from a cloud rap album, I'm so glad I got put onto SD
That cover hard as hell
I don’t feel like writing a lot so I’m gonna keep it short and sweet but this is probably your best output so far, the production is so clean and your vocals were the best you’ve demonstrated yet. Great feature selection with people you had chemistry with and overall just some really solid artistic maturity and a showcase of all your styles
SKIIIIIIIIIPIIIIIING TOOOOOOOOOOOMBSTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONES
Title FIght's second/third (idk take your pick) album Floral Green is undoubtedly just as much of a masterpiece as Shed was, but with a more refined and professional sound that expanded on what Shed was sonically but still kept that youthful nostalgic feeling that makes me love TF. Where Shed was raw and stripped back, showing pure emotion and feeling, Floral Green sounds much more full and of more substance sonically. The guitars ... read more
