I won't say probably anything new about this one. It plays very safe, it starts to play strong, first half sounds almost as good as Blood Sugar Sex Magik, but then the second half doesn't even come as strong as Californication, but overall it's a beautiful album, maybe too pop for them, at least they manage to not dissapoint after a 3 year wait after a quite strong and successful album.

Very underrated album, deserves more attention than it's getting. I love the experimentation in here, probably the most transcending album of all in their discography, that's why this one is special, this is like opening a door to a sound of RHCP that we know now and the one that with their next album will be locked up as their signature sound. Great album, of course, it was hard to follow Blood Sugar Sex Magik, which was almost perfect and probably their best. This one has misses ... read more

Now who could've knew that this band could release such a good album as this? Their definitely best and one of the biggest leafs in music history if you heard their first four albums. Rick Rubin gave them a wonderful lesson, the band itself finally took themselves more serious and this is the result of it. Lots of funky, catchy and melodic tunes here, one of the most interesting records of the '90s, almost a masterpiece.

This one's actually better than I thought. I was kinda sure that Uplift Mofo album will take the cake, but this one had even a better focus on the right direction for the band. After Hillerl's trafic death, Chad Smith and John Frusciante enters the band, a formula built by these four men will make them bigger than they probably had ever expected and this was the beginning of it. Tracks getting better, songs now have their shapes, but the harsh music wasn't what made this album ... read more

Okay, we keep on getting better with each album, comparing this to their debut, it sounds like the band made a 360 degree turn in a good way of their music. Again, nothing much special here, but the songs got better hooks and there are more memorable songs here than the first two albums had, Hillel Slovak joins the band, sadly this will also be the last time he plays in a RHCP album. Not a strong album, but this one is probably the one the hardcore fans choose to play the most of their first ... read more

This was a much better offer from the gang one year later. And by saying much better, I don't mean that it's a wonderful album, it's just that the first one was garbage, this one is mediocre, but at least the instrumentals and the songs have a point here, even when those songs again aren't something special.

What a lazy and stupid debut album from the band that later will win Grammy awards and make hits like Under the Bridge, Give It Away, Californication, Scar Tissue, By the Way and Dani California... Right after the first minutes you know this album gonna suck, it's bad from every side you gonna look, the production, the lyrics, the vocals, the songs itself are almost nothing close to great or even good. One of the worst debuts from a band that later become popular.

I was really nicely surprised when I heard this album. The songs are interesting and sounds like Sir Paul McCartney is still enjoying for some new experiments in his music and I'm loving those nostalgia and memories from long ago themes here. His vocals also sound better than in couple albums before and overall this album is one of his better ones that's for sure.

Joy Division - Closer

Another strong and sadly the last album from Joy Division, a tragic ending. This record is even more depressing than the first one, because here it's obviousin in Ian's lyrics that he is in a very dark place, it's probably the strongest innuendo of all the albums before tragedy that something's not going right to somebody. The sound is more experimental, more given power to the instruments, but to me the first one had that stronger charm of sounding more numb (maybe not the ... read more

Very depressive, very dark a grey-black color album with themes that could make your happy mood go a bit down after you listen to this album, but then again... Maybe that's why this album makes that strong of an effect? Listening to Joy Division's albums isn't for everyone, especially not for those who like those happy pop love songs that always play on the radio, this album won't give you smiles, but it gives you a deep, beautiful and meaningful music, Ian Curtis poetry ... read more

Great metal record. Metal or Trash Metal isn't the kind of genre that I often listen so forgive me if this rating does not do justice to this record, but it's probably the strongest one that I could give to any trash metal album. However I can feel and hear the power in it, all songs are tight, straight to the point, the compositions are well structured so the masterpiece in this album truly feels.

Very interesting album, the closest one out of all solo Pink Floyd albums that sounds similar to Pink Floyd, maybe that tells a lot about how important David's iconic guitar sound and the mood of sound itself is important to Pink Floyd music. Wasn't expecting much, but after first listen it really caught my attention how beautiful this album is. Sure, his voice is that strong as it used to be, but as a 80 year old he knows how to sing great in his own way. Speaking about voices, his ... read more

Very strange album, you don't expect that this kind of debut solo album could've come from soon to be ex-beatle Paul McCartney. Then again... He was the most strange one out of them in creating music by trusting his own ideas in his own way back then. Even when it's an unusual album, it still has a few melodic, beautiful songs in it, today it might even be inspiring to some this kind of stuff, but he will do better with Ram a year later after this one.

One of those albums that everyone must hear in their lifetime, that's how I would rate this album in my own words. From the very first time since I've listened to this record, I fell in love with. It really felt like I'm listening to one of those most perfect rock albums and not only from the '70s. Great album and even a more great return to form! Ofcourse, when the band is 40 years old, you can't expect them to be as energetic as 30 years ago, so this is a return to a best form as possible I would say, which they can rock and still make such an enjoyable album still. This one really sounds like they're putting their heart in it, comparing to their ,,Father of all ..." or the Uno, Dos, Tre trilogy albums. Okay now... So many mixed reactions been from later Green Day's albums, this one hit the bottom, it's easy to sum up, that later part of their carrier wasn't as strong as their '90s and early 2000s. This album was kind of joke (I do believe. even when it wasn't stated that way all the way thru) and to end their deal with a record company. Nothing here stands out and yes, some songs are probably their weakest on this album, but when it's only 26 minutes long ... read more

After their worst three albums in a row, which got mainly mixed reactions, Green Day returned bringing some hope that it wasn't the last of them. Revolution Radio was probably the most played album for me of 2016. not sure why, but maybe because I was glad that they still had it in them, even when it still wasn't like back in the '90s or nor did it sound at the same level as American Idiot. "The songs missing its sharpness like it has on Gorillaz and Demon Days albums. The songs here sound like they were drowned in honey, plus it really sounds like it was made by a 55 year old male artist"
