This album, while not very good, has political and cultural references to views that were before its time. Some songs are also catchy in a weird way. Not something I would listen to pretty much ever, but it showed potential in terms of lyricism.
if you were to play any random snippet of this, it would clear both sombr and gracie abrams’ entire catalogues.
Personally, this is definitely not my thing, I’m just not a huge fan of the genre and Tom’s voice is annoying at points.
This album is very much pub-rock, it has a cool vibe but very long and one-note, which got a bit boring after a while listening.
