As my first dive into EBM and Electro-Industrial I didn't find much that impressed me. It felt pretty cheesy tbh.
Never thought I would see the day that a vacuum would bust a nut...
This album is quite the experience from the recently deceased artist Steve Abini who's work that I have listened to so far hasn't impressed me that much unfortunately. I think this project is the best of the bunch so far with its incentive guitars and grooves. Steve's screaming is fun as well. I bet this would fuck so hard at a live concert but for an album experience it's good too. 👍
Sade is always a pleasure to have around. But there's more to life than pure pleasant feelings and butterflies. I at first was all for it but soon enough wanted a bit of spice and variety to keep the excitement up, but it never came to be. So I ended up in a more neutral emotion. It's good music don't get me wrong, but it needs something to jolt things up a bit from time to time. The opener reminded me of Enigma which is always a plus. The particular nostalgic vibe is always intoxicating and I ... read more
The First track showed a lot of promise with it's funky grooves great choices for samples and the smooth sexy flows and rhymes effortlessly passed between the two rappers. Then the rest of the album happened and it got pretty tedious pretty quickly. Like it's fine I guess but it's not for me.
That was the longest strangest 42 minutes spent of my life. I want a refund.
Some decent country that gets more engaging when the harmonica comes in and livens things up. Otherwise its nothing special.

It ok. Liked "Every Little Step" everything breezed through the ears with little effect.
I have mostly been apathetic to SATB and unfortunately this release is added to the pile of in my opinion forgettable releases. I liked "Carousel" otherwise it's bleh.
Other than the glaring problem with its not so gentlemanly views of women, this Album is a fun time. It got great flows, confidence, witty writing, great 80's hip hop production all the check marks. Not too shabby from the slick one. Just lay off on the Indian girl and treating women like prostitutes next time and I would be on even better terms with the release.

A wild Brian Wilson appears and it looks like he is trying to recapture the magic of lost pets of more than two decades before this venture. Unfortunately for a good amount of the LP it seems to be a flat imitation of old music that just doesn't work.
Then the track "One For the Boys" comes around and the spark finally ignites and the old Beach Boys magic blooms once more and what a sight it is to witness. "There's So Many" would fit so well into the album it's emulating ... read more
It makes way too much sense that this album was released on April 1st. From the production to the lyrics this shit is just WILD!
Wild as in really good, but has a non serious goofy vibe at times. Seriously though this album is an underrated gem more should check it out, I really enjoyed myself with this!

I feel like I am in a strange dance club that even weirdos are hesitant to join. The record is pretty damn monotonous and the initial charm wears it's welcome pretty quickly. The sound has potential but it seems a bit undercooked. I liked the opener everything else got apathy.
I have next to zero clue of what to look forward to in this album other than the big hit. So if it's anything like that then I am in for a good time. Let's get into it!
Getting Older:
Huh. She sounds like a grown ass adult now. It's very apparent that she has done a ton of reflection to get these words down. They are pretty interesting and allude to some darker topics that will be explored in the songs to come. The minimal production is good when you choose to pay attention to it, but the ... read more

Cool I guess. (NR)
Bad Guy:
I listened to it times a many on the radio and listening to it once more today a few years later, I still find it pretty whatever. (55)
Xanny:
Ok. Didn't find any reason to return to this one. The lyrics were semi interesting the usage of silence and the bass kept my attention going. But ye still pretty forgettable. (50)
You Should See Me In a Crown:
A nice lil banger. Don't put this ... read more
With her new album releasing, and me only knowing her big radio hits, I like many others have decided to check out her work up to this point to have a perspective of what kind of legacy she has built up to this point and how she builds on top of it. It all starts with unlucky Billie sitting under a ladder.
Copycat's production and kinda preteen friendly feel reminds of the infamous artist Melanie Martinez but a lot less pandering to that audience. Also random observation of her voice, it is ... read more
That twenty minute opener is mallsoft in it's purest form and is the standout that makes this album hold up well against it's peers. The second half of the release is fine but feels a bit standard a decade later with multitude of albums sounding pretty similar to it. The last two tracks are still good though and are worth checking out. Overall it's a pretty solid early mallsoft album with a phenomenal ambient opener that just immerses the listener into the Palm Mall itself and makes them want ... read more
Funky, Jazzy, Jammy, and dash in an exotic flavor and you have yourself this album in a nutshell. It's all good stuff and I want more of it! Makes me feel like I am a spy who's simultaneously trying to enjoy the very much needed vacation with the wife and trying to kill the assassin that's trying to blow up the visiting ambassadors from various countries as they negotiate trade deals with this beautiful country that's rich with resources.
