I didn't notice the lack of Bass until reading reviews here and in the comments of the YouTube Music app, but since I was made aware of the fact, yeah this album would honestly be an all timer like their other acclaimed albums if that essential instrument was included. Not to say this album isn't fucking great despite the lack of Bass. Which is very impressive to be honest. So much so it's my favorite Metallica Album that I have listened to so far. What can I say the composition is Just. That. ... read more
I swear if that makes vocal wasn't there then this would be an enjoyable album. But GOD DAMN can I just not STAND his obnoxious voice!
From the dreamy production to the gorgeous melodies, I finally get the Cocteau Twins that I fell in love with. I wasn't so mesmerized with a release of theirs since "Treasure" and now that I am caught within the magic once more I don't want to be released from the spell. This shit once it catches ahold of ya is pure bliss and will wash away any worries you may have and purifies your consciousness into the present moment as you let the pretty music take over your soul. You could make a ... read more
Well that was certainly two hours. This brand of ambient while spacious is also very sparse which can easily lead to disconnect to the listener. I liked a track or two but the vast majority of my experience was pretty apathetic unfortunately. I just wish that there was more tribal elements in this tribal ambient album.

It's an "Alright" record with a strong two song ( technically three) finish. Not the best overall experience that the boys had presented to me but it does have a couple of standouts that are just begging for repeat listens that I am more than willing to oblige.

Me with thrash metal usually: meh.
Me with Bathory doing Thrash: ascended.
Ye I am officially a Bathory fan now. These guys are absolutely insane and way too intense in all the right ways. The guitars are chunky AF, the drums are absolutely SLAMMING and the vocals are way too brutal for any mortal man. It's all crazy, and it's all great! It even makes space for some enrapturing atmosphere to draw you in before ripping your face off with no mercy. I'd gladly have my eardrums destroyed once ... read more
This record was released on August 8th 1988 and I hold the honor of being the 888th rating. ( Someone may snatch it away from me while I am listening but shush. I refuse to update this page that says 887 ratings. I am staking my claim and if you got a problem then you can stick it bub!)
I have heard the band called My Bloody Valentine here and there so I was interested going in to see what this group of artists is all about. Apparently this album is one of the influential forefathers of the ... read more
I didn't really feel this one. Some of the sampling and inclusion of conversations took me out of the vibe pretty hard. Can't deny the insane chemistry and flows and when the production does hit, man does it slap hard! I wish I had a better time with this infamous album, but it could be worse.

Absolutely Magical.
I have never watched My Neighbor Totoro but after listening to it's whimsical soundtrack I need to watch it yesterday. I am in love with everything this masterpiece has to offer and it just makes me feel like a kid again and everything is new and fascinating once more! Highly recommend you give this a listen and give the classic movie a watch as well!

The second part of Keeper of the Seven Keys in my not mattering opinion is a bit of a fall off from its predecessor. I enjoyed a few songs and found the finish to be particularly strong, other wise it too standard to the genre to capture my attention.

With a strong voice and a bold message to send Tracy Chapman's self titled release has made quite an impact and continues to do so to this day. Personally I only found a few songs git to be returned to but the overall conclusion overrides my petty opinion in that this Album is a classic and should not be ignored.

I think I prefer when thrash is technical rather than it's raw from cause I found this to be a lot more tolerable than what I am used to with normal thrash metal.
The neat and clean usage of the thrash instrumental, is countered with nasty vocals making for a good time with all the metal heads. Love the Jimi Hendrix tribute at the end that was nice.

EnR is Back and better than ever. The flows stay sexy and top of the line. The samples and scratches on the needle. The Lyricism, it needs no introduction. They set the standard that left the hip hop world scrambling climb the forehills of their lofty peak. A year later they are determined to keep the thrown in their possession as the industry catches up to their previous release. So they suggest any and all to follow the leader as they show everyone just how it's done.
