Without the visual performance, it doesn't do anything for me. Standing Next to You is outstandingly catchy. Reminds me of old Michael Jackson and Quincy Jones. The rest of the album I don't remember. Nothing registered sadly.
This album is fresh like first love, first crop, beginner's luck etc - unadulterate pure expression bursting forth from his heart. It just happened to come together perfectly.

70+: Decent, kinda good. Saved songs but probably won't listen to entire album again
60+: Meh. One or two songs liked.
50+: Entirely forgettable.
Under 50: A bad listening experience. Almost pain.
