The Prodigy - Invaders Must Die

The run from the opening title track up to and including track 6 ‘Warrior’s Dance’ is absolutely insane. That alone is enough to make this album a classic. The latter half of the album can’t quite keep up the same momentum, but it’s still decent. Overall, the users are right on this one and the critics were wrong. Fans of electronic or rock music should definitely give this one a spin.

This was much better than expected. An instrumental metal band from Kazakhstan that also fuse their music with aspects of Western classical and Kazakh folk music. Of course it’s cheesy. But it’s also pretty original, executed well, and worth a listen.

I didn’t love the vocals or the ‘shredding’-style guitar solos, although shredding never appealed to me honestly. The style really reminds me of Fear Factory, although this album seems nowhere near as hooky to me as, say, Demanufacture. I think overall it’s decent but possibly just not my ... read more

These albums/EPs fall into at least one of two categories: 1) Not enough people have heard the album; 2) The album deserves more credit than its bad/mediocre reviews suggest.
