First like 3 songs are really solid. And then it nosedives pretty hard. Just sounds out of ideas, really. Not bad, necessarily, just really bored-sounding.

Uninspired power pop. Slight shimmers of promise here and there but overall you can tell Rivers was just trying to appeal to the broadest audience after Pinkerton. Island in the Sun slaps tho.
This is my favorite album ever. Nothing will ever top it. The raw emotion and heartbreak is something that resonated with me when I first heard this album and even now it still resonates with me. Lindsey’s desperate cries promising not to love anyone else hit like a freight train now and then. I will be buried with this album.
This is the album that broke me into any sort of experimental hip hop besides Death Grips. Peggy’s unbridled anger pierces any listener immediately, starting off with digs at Drake and the upper class on 1539 N. Calvert St. It carries out through the album with death threats against then president Trump on Baby I’m Bleeding, to wishing that Morrissey just dies already on the aptly named I Cannot Fucking Wait Til Morrissey Dies, and carrying out to the very end on Curb Stomp. Really fun, light, indie pop project. Less emotionally wrecked than TV Girl’s other projects, and Jordana’s vocals really add to the breezy atmosphere. A return to form for TV Girl.
