Mac Miller - Swimming
81

Great chill production on this thing, tracks like What’s the Use? and Self Care are exceptional, some tracks don’t meet those same standards but overall, very solid

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
73

Musically it’s great, the vocals are fine, didn’t love as much everyone seems too

Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition
79

An extremely experimental hip hop project, it’s dark and grimy, and yet still pretty enjoyable.

Death - Symbolic
78

I’ve never really enjoyed metal music, this was pretty good tho

Portishead - Dummy
65

I’m sorry, it’s just prolly not my thing, I don’t really like the vocals. It’s just not sum I’m gonna ever revisit

Freddie Gibbs & Madlib - Piñata
70

Good chemistry between the two, good album

Mos Def - Black on Both Sides
70

I’ve only listened to it once and liked some tracks, a lil long, but the rapping is great

The Cure - Disintegration
100

I first listened to this a lil over a year ago and didn’t really get the appeal, but I was a fool bc this is magnificent. It’s so dark but beautiful. I like the vocals and how they’re mixed in every track. It’s kind of impossible to pick a favorite but the title track, Pictures of You and Closedown are my top three

Young Thug - Slime Season 2
82

Hold this in the same regard as the first one, pretty long, maybe a slight bit of filler, but I like most of it a lot

Tyler, The Creator - CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST: The Estate Sale
95

Definitely his best rapped album, the deluxe version makes it even better than before especially with the addition of Sorry Not Sorry which is a top 5 Tyler song imo

Tyler, The Creator - Cherry Bomb
75

Not terrible, he tried a lot of different things which can be considered filler. I admire the creativity tho

Magdalena Bay - This Is the World (I Made It for You) / Nice Day
96

Mag bay is here to stay, this run was immaculate

Magdalena Bay - Unoriginal / Black-Eyed Susan Climb
94

This one is more indie feeling, it’s great. Prolly not as good as the last two singles, still great

Magdalena Bay - Human Happens / Paint Me a Picture
98

Yep, they keep they keep spoiling us, it’s just unbelievable how good they are so early on

Magdalena Bay - Second Sleep / Star Eyes
99

Just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, they drop these two instant classics

Future - Purple Reign
87

This is another excellent mixtape from Future, you can tell he’s not even trying all that hard here to make a classic, but this album’s still fantastic anyways

Yeat - Up 2 Më
88

Yeah ts is gas 🔥 the production is really awesome, especially for a debut LP. Get Busy, U could tell, and Turban are my favorites here

C418 - Minecraft - Volume Alpha
73

I don’t play the game, so I don’t hold this in very high regard, but it’s nice and calming ambient music

Young Thug - Slime Season
84

Another great project just coming off of Barter 6. A little more filler here, which is bc it’s longer, but those first 6 tracks is maybe the best run in Thug’s career

Young Thug - Barter 6
92

A consistent trap classic, so many bangers with very little filler
Top 3:
1. Never Had It
2. Dome
3. Can’t Tell

On Drake - Care Package
"Loved the motion, how bout now, draft day, 4pm in calabasas, and free spirt. I feel like these all could’ve been top 5-8 songs on any of his early albums. There are just too many misses for this to have a higher rating."
