What's the point of having The Heat Part 5 as an extra? It should've been included in the base album.
You know it's a good song when Lamar strains his voice.
Underwhelming, especially if you're familiar with Lamar's other works.
The song itself is amazing, but the video is nothing special, although that should probably be expected since this is early in Lamar's career.
OMG! Slint drowned on the cover!
I'm not sure how to feel about the remastered tracks. While the clearer vocals make the storytelling easier to follow, they also take a bit away from the moodiness of the original, more muddy vocal mix. It's a double-edged sword.
Also, the 4 track vocal demo of Nosferatu is funny. McMahan just mumbles and coughs through the whole thing.
Being British and/or a furry is usually disastrous for hip-hop projects, which is why it is impressive that this album is so great.
While listening to this, I thought, "Wow, it sounds like a teenage girl wrote this." Then I found out a teenage girl wrote this.
