Some really strong tracks here (Ferne, Volver, Monkey Biz) but towards the end it feels a bit all over the place.
Bold and expansive, a bit messy at parts but that's part of its ambition.
Fela Kuti and Kamasi Washington vibes, with a sprinkle of Shabaka Hutchings. A whole journey. The percussion is HEAVENLY. I felt forced to raise the volume in Virgin.
