Really great energy and interesting concept. However, the sounds are too lo-fi and incomplete for me to really enjoy this album.
This is the toughest and most complex hip hop album to come out in a seriously long time. It will probably grow on me even more as the year goes on. I think this could be a sleeper for Top 10 album of the year.
Atlas is an excellent album that feels like the band members made it effortlessly. I only wish it carried more memorable tunes as their previous album Days.
I enjoyed this album, but there are some low point to it. I don't know why, but each time I listen to this album, I feel more inclined to listen to Habits and Contradictions. Man of the Year, though, is my ish.
I wanted to really love this album, but some tracks just seemed to be too long or really uninteresting. Nonetheless, it is a decent album by a respected artist.
The album moves very well but it carries very little weight. Beck seems to go for easy melodies instead trying to make the album a challenging listen.
Lovely album by Angel Olsen. Shows very strong songwriting and becomes a very engaging listen. Favorite songs include Hi-Five, White Fire,Lights Out,and Iota.
This album is really damn good. It will probably go overlooked this year. However, I see this becoming one my favorite hip hop albums this year.
Good experimental hip hop album. Really enjoyed the first half of the album but some of the latter tracks were uninteresting.
Decent album some low points, but some really high points. Some tracks go on too long and that's probably the weakness of this album. However I do like this one more than RIP.
Fantastic album. I can clearly see the Godspeed influence. What We Loved Was Not Enough is an epic ass song. Probably underrated.
Good album not great. Easy listening, decent music, but nothing that is impactful.
I just didn't like the album. Though the artist shows some promise, I could not find myself loving most of the songs.
Say what you want about this album but Beyonce put forth one hell of a project. It probably weighs most of its impact visually. However, unlike her previous work, Beyonce tries to build an atmosphere instead of going for a random collection of easily accessible hits. The result is a masterpiece.
Really good album. Despite a few low points, this band makes a strong statement with this album. Favorite tracks include Wanderlust, Sweet Spot, A Simple Beautiful Truth, and Past Perfect
Superb album by St. Vincent. Really an entertaining listen from front to back. Just as good as her predecessors if not better. Favorite Tracks include Rattlesnake, Birth In Reverse, Digital Witness, Prince Johnny, and Severed Crossed Fingers.
Very good album. However, a few tracks I feel lasted too long. (ex. Disappearing). Nonetheless, I loved Under the Pressure, Red Eyes, Eyes to the Wind, and In Reverse.
