What a powerhouse of an album, especially as the second release in just one year! It delivers excellent mathcore infused with sludge elements. This record stands up to its predecessor, or perhaps even surpasses it.
Favorite tracks: Slip the Noose, Dream Debris and Nothing is Over.
Dimmu Borgir has always excelled at elevating the fusion of black and symphonic metal, and this album is no exception. In fact, it feels like a refined continuation of their recent work, seasoned with subtle nods to their earlier material. The production is superb, the sound is powerful, and the growls remain as impactful as ever.
This is a fantastic album featuring magnificent bass lines and an uplifting spirit. It definitely has some catchy tunes, with "Moon Rocks" and "Burning Down the House" standing out as prime examples.
I appreciate the technical brilliance and the overall appeal, but the growls and vocals don't work for me.
Ah yes the oficial debut of the Arctic Monkeys.. sometimes I hope they will return to this garage punk / rock in the near future. But I guess that’s too much to ask for. It’s my favorite album with great songs like: “The View from the Afternoon”, “Fake Tales of San Francisco”, “A Certain Romance” and “Still Take You Home”.
This is the one, this is the album that skyrocketed the prodigy to a new level with their greatest hits: Smack my bitch up, Breathe and Firestarter. These are among the best hits they’ve ever made.
This album is a double bass extravaganza, showcasing one of their finest works. Standout tracks include “DeManufacture”, “Self Bias Resistor” and “Zero Signal”. It’s industrial metal at its absolute best.
This is a great overall album with a few tracks perfect for banging your head. It also offers a nice mix of metal styles.
I enjoyed the album. There are a few nice songs on it and the tempo is great without being repetitive.
Black Sabbath’s album Paranoid is a classic, featuring timeless tracks like War Pigs, Paranoid and Iron Man.
Brutal death metal to the max. If you want to bang your head off you should definitely give this one a try.
This album has some of their greatest songs ever, or should I say most famous songs ever.
The album starts strong with hits like: “Scar Tissue”, “Californication” and “Otherside”. But the second half is a bit more weak in my opinion, but good nonetheless. It ends strong with the song “Road Trippin’” though.
A brutal melodic death metal album with great riffs, nice melodies and the At the Gates sound of course.
Great tunes from the Beach Boys "Wouldn't It Be Nice," "Sloop John B," and "God Only Knows" are all classics.
Old-school hardcore punk delivers exactly what you'd expect from Terror: a solid addition to their discography packed with headbanging tracks.
This album offers a great variety and tracks like “Once In a Lifetime” and “The Great Curve” are awesome.
A remarkable rock opera showcasing Meat Loaf's exceptional vocal range and emotional depth. He effortlessly transitions from tender ballads to high-energy anthems, demonstrating remarkable versatility throughout. The album is thoughtfully composed and complemented by stunning artwork.
