this album sounds submerged in liquid. samples are muddy, textured, and at a distance as Aviv speaks his mind. truly an atmosphere that not many albums can replicate i don’t know how he pulled it off
i played this nonstop in 2022, and it just continues to age better with time. contender for one of the best album covers of the past 5 years too.
might be one of the sexiest albums ever made like good LORD
just incredible r&b, and has some of the catchiest and most sensual tracks she's ever made.
Janet Jackson might actually be better than MJ honestly. Some of the most forward thinking production, incredibly personal and profound songwriting, just peak r&b music that really paved the way for so many artists today

actually some of the most insane rage I’ve ever heard, and I hope it doesn’t get overwritten as just a simple rage album, bc Jane adds so much to the style. like how did she produce this shit??? Love how the vibe stays consistent throughout the album, even if the style switches up so much, it’s always refreshing, and I just had a blast man

Had a whole review written down but the site crashed on me. Basically all I have to say is that this is everything I have wanted out of Quadeca and then some, as I feel like he is finally starting to not try as hard, making a product that just feels effortless (in the best way imaginable). Really excited for Vanisher, and I hope he doesn’t go tunnel vision on the concept of the album like he did on I Didn’t Mean To Haunt You (even tho I still like that record)

yes it’s long. yes it’s bloated. yes the album took 4+ years to release but I love it. it’s just so fun, but I totally understand why some are dissapointed
if you separate this album from its rollout entirely it is much more enjoyable, and I suggest you don’t let carti’s antics get in the way of how fun of a record this is
I can totally understand why someone would find this to be just ok, but oh my god this is one of the most vibey, laid-back records I’ve heard in a minute, and Men I Trust’s band chemistry is just effortless. Just shit to float on a lazy river to in the best way possible

Quite honestly one of the most powerful, personal tracks of the past decade, and that Sampha feature really just brings it all together. I feel like I’m 15 again hearing this lmao but I’ve been dealing w some crazy shit and I’ve been coming back to music that is as vulnerable as possible. Idk it’s a perfect song from basically a perfect album what more can I say
