Angelo Badalamenti - Soundtrack from Twin Peaks
80

Haven't seen the show, but this a great soundtrack.

(Edit): I’ve watched the show now

Favourite songs: Twin Peaks Theme, The Nightingale, Falling, Into the Night, Laura Palmer's Theme

Bowery Electric - Beat
77

Good production and atmosphere

RIP Swirl - Blurry
85

Favourite songs: Blurry, Smiling Dog, Alone Awake, Blue Moon, Better, Backyard

Gorillaz - Demon Days
90

This album is so sick. Full of bangers
Favourite songs: Kids with Guns, Dirty Harry, Feel Good Inc., El Mañana, November Has Come, Don't Get Lost in Heaven

Gorillaz - Plastic Beach
93

insanely consistent production. Features work rly well throughout the album.

clipping. - CLPPNG
79

Get Up, Inside Out, Story 2 are my favourites. Album has great hooks overall

Sweet Trip - You Will Never Know Why
84

Tracks from Forever to Darkness and also Pretending are bangers. Most of the album is good

Dos Monos - Dos Siki
90

I will never know what this album is about

Lil Ugly Mane - MISTA THUG ISOLATION
87

Im not a huge fan of Mona Lisa Overdrive and Lookin 4 Tha Suckin, but other than that this album is great

Jockstrap - Love Is the Key to the City
80

Instrumental tracks are good, but the 4 in the middle are all great.
8/10 bc too short and the tracks don't rly flow well for some reason

Jockstrap - Wicked City
96

Every song is so unique and so good but yet they all somehow fit together

Bedwetter - volume 1: flick your tongue against your teeth and describe the present.
65

Dark album, production is pretty good throughout

Man Wearing a Helmet is a great song, not sure if the story is a reference to something or personal experience. Stoop Lights is also a good song.

underscores - fishmonger
88

Spoiled Little Brat is by far the best song on the album, but almost all of them are great.

Cons: Dry Land 2001 outro is cool but too long and doesn’t rly do much except for build anticipation for next song, but then The fish song comes in and doesn’t do much either.

Birth Day - Boyhood
69

Songs sound pretty similar to a point where it gets repetitive. Pretty depressing album.

Favourites: A Tornado Hits the Illies, Please Stay, Boyhood

Boldy James & Nicholas Craven - Fair Exchange No Robbery
83

Great production and good rapping on this. Definitely enjoy it but i feel like it could’ve had more energy or maybe just been a bit more interesting in the middle

I don’t think there’s any skips but Scrabble, Designer Drugs, and Power Nap are probably my top songs

Injury Reserve - By the Time I Get to Phoenix
100

Great album, probably my favourite album of all time. Sampling and production is insane, so many cools ideas.

"Good review Bread. I think it is ok to not have an introspective take on a piece of work like this, especially if it is still fresh. Bjork's writing can be pretty abstract - which adds to the magic, but also lends itself more to feeling the music as opposed to analysis"

"@dontneedauserna Lol to each his own I think the Injury Reserve album has lots of cool ideas that ive never heard other artists do, and because of that I find it not boring since it keeps my attention, I also just think it's enjoyable to listen to. This Vince album was pretty tame to me. I feel like ive heard Vince make similar songs before. I've also heard Vince make some really interesting songs, and I felt they were lacking on this album. But yes you're right, we are now square"

On gabs7's review of JPEGMAFIA - SIN MIEDO
"I understand this take, Im also not a huge fan of this single. but you gotta think back to the singles he's put out for albums in the past, which are typically his most straightforward tracks. Lean Beef Patty, Hazard Duty Pay, Trust, Jesus forgive me, etc. I think this is another case of a song like that, cuz I had the same thoughts for some of those songs, and then ended up liking them a lot more when the album came out"
