This album is basically a single track split up into 6 different parts that all flow seamlessly together. It begins simple, with a few pleasant strings and bells, but as you listen through the album Aumile keeps adding new sounds to keep it fresh and growing. It is pleasant, interesting, and not too long either.
It has a repetitive motif that reminded me a bit of Pharoah Sanders' Promises and also helped to keep the sound collage grounded as it grew. I was left a bit disappointed by the ... read more
This album sounds as wild as the cover looks, big fan of the production here
Fav songs: In a World of U, Grey Matter, Livery, Mystic Sheep Drink Electric Tea
No vocals, simply cloud rap production at its finest. I like when it leans into ambience and atmosphere, but the bass and drums are great too
Fav songs: Widows, Lobby
This is worth listening to. Burials releases for the past few years have been consistently good, but never quite reaching that next level I know he can attain, and this release is a perfect example of that.
Comafields is a little more upbeat, sounds something like "Come Down To Us", and Imaginary Festival sounds more ambient and spacey
Wow. This is one of those albums that's gonna be in rotation for a long time.
I listened to Geese a little bit after 3D Country came out, but since I wasn't familiar with Cameron's name I ended up missing this release for a bit. It was everywhere on this site but the cover didn't peak my interest tbh.
Anyways, I've learned that this album is fricken beautiful, and I can't get enough of it. And ever since I started listening to it a few weeks ago, Geese just ... read more
Of all the billy woods albums, this album has the most pervasive atmosphere. From the first few seconds of Jumpscare, you have an idea of what you're about to get yourself into
This is definitely one of those releases where you have to read through the lyrics at some point to truly see the points being made, which is something that I have not done yet as I'm still trying to understand it sonically. But that doesn't mean I missed everything; from what I see, this could easily be ... read more
Some heat. Kodak in the big 2025, who would've thought
This is a great album, but it's not really for me
Fav songs: Hope, Capricorn
I remember listening to this when it first came out and I was so disappointed in terms because I was a big zel fan.
feel away single was on repeat for a long time. It was in my Spotify wrapped playlist in 2020 and 2021
Fav songs: feel away, PLAY WITH FIRE, I tried, 45 SMOKE, adhd, push
Meant to rate this ages ago when It came out.
This album is great at lots of things:
1. Being house music. If that's what you're looking for, you'll find it here
2. Being very chill, almost ambient. Some songs on here serve as great background music, or just get a lot done sonically without anything excess. Repetition is rampant, as it is a house album.
3. Good vibes and sounding truly genuine. Some beautiful moments on here
Pretty consistently cool. I don't really know what to call this sound they've put together here, I kinda got young father's vibes, but there's just a guy going crazy on the drums the entire time
With a runtime of 20 mins, it's not easy to find much to complain about. I wish there were a few more great moments, some ear candy if you will, but I am not unhappy with this at all
(Edit): 73 -> 80
My appreciation for this album has only grown

This is the perfect clipping album to play with ur friends. it has good rapping -some funny bars, good flows throughout - and the production has a good balance between EDM sounds and noise. Great for scratching that industrial hip hop without scaring people away.
This sound isn't totally new for them though, previous "hits" like Say the Name, Nothing is Safe, or Check the Lock, definitely have the same sort of sound
Also, shout out to them for having such consistent album ... read more
From the album Oceans on Azimuth. I haven't heard the album yet but this single definitely makes me want to
Great dream pop. Very beach house. Kinda long, but that's why there are chapters!
Chapter 1: 9/10
Chapter 2: 8/10
Chapter 3: 6/10
Chapter 4: 6/10
Fav songs: Superstar, New Romance, Once Twice Melody, Through Me, Hurts to Love
I love the poetry of this album
Fav songs: Waste of Paint, You Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will, Nothing Gets Crossed Out
Heard this when it first came out, but it had so many long songs and it's a lot easier to listen to short songs than to listen to long songs. I've returned to Reiterations and Man Proposes, God Disposes throughout the years, but never got back into the full album. But after that new Shearling album came out I really wanted to give this a couple more listens, and now I wanna give it even more listens
Instrumentation is insane
I don't understand everything this album is about, but ... read more
