If you haven't heard Bowery Electric yet, I would recommend listening to Beat over this, but then listening to this soon after
Id only heard one smokedope2016 song before this album, but I will listen to many others afterwards. Production definitely carries a bit but that's ok
I liked his last album more but this is decent, would love to hear some weirder sounding songs produced by him
Been listening to New Veil City since I first heard it on a hivemind playlist a few years ago, and then I found out this album dropped also from hivemind
There isn't anything specific that really stuck out to me from listening to this, but it's a tranquil album with pretty and peaceful production. Something to play late at night, or maybe another time of day, ig depends on the person
Fav songs: New Veil City, Fairytale, Control
This is a really fun listen with lots of glitchy electronic music that, although containing some abrasive sounds layered throughout, doesn't commit to being aggressive
Sounds kinda like the new Porter Robinson. Catchy songs with interesting instrumentals

It's pretty cool, definitely gonna be returning to songs on this
Fav songs: As Long As, I Like it, Welcome
Been listening to many artists named Doris recently, trying to find the best one. This is not #1, but im happy I found them
fav songs: Olson, Roygbiv, Turquoise Hexagon Sun, Aquarius, Pete Standing Alone, Happy Cycling
This is pretty accessible for a more experimental hip hop album. I don't think listeners would be turned away by confusing beats or strange flows. That being said there is depth here that warrants relistening
Fav songs: Recollections of the wraith, Swerve..., An echo from the hosts that profess infinitum, Youlogy
Fav songs: The Young People, The Wild Rover, Hunting the Wren, The Dark Eyed Gypsy
After a long hiatus I have given another Cocteau Twins album a chance. After only a few listens, there’s still more listening to do before I feel confident listing the most impactful tracks
Just as magical as I expected it to be, the vocals here especially stand out as some of the most unique and special of all their music I’ve heard
Fav songs: Can't Cool Me Down, Deadlines (Hostile), Martin
Is there a song in the wind?
Phil questions the purpose of life on this album, and brings us along for the journey. There’s beautiful wisdom to be gleaned from his observations and conclusions
Fav songs: I Hear Whales (I Think), I Spoke With A Fish, the Gleam, Pt.3
