Album starts off strong, stays pretty consistent throughout

Fav songs: Black Sunlight, Falling out the Sky, Stonefruit, Sir Benni Miles, Roaches Don't Fly, Wishing Bad

Jack White - No Name
78

Not a style of music I typically enjoy listening to, however I can't deny the album has bangers. Great guitar riffs, singing, and energy

Fav songs: What's The Rumpus, Bombing Out, That's How I'm Feeling, Tonight (Was A Long Time Ago), Bless Yourself

The Oh Hellos - Dear Wormwood
71

Fav songs: Bitter Water, This Will End, Pale White Horse, Where Is Your Rider, Dear Wormwood

Porter Robinson - SMILE! :D
82

Cohesive, full of bangers. I wish there were more interesting song structures mixed in throughout

Speed - ONLY ONE MODE
68

Good riffs and production, not a huge fan of the vocals

Jon and Roy - The Road Ahead Is Golden

Fav songs: The Better Life, How the Story Goes, When You’re Gone, Nothing but Everything

Japanese Breakfast - Jubilee

Fav songs: No Garden, 2 Again, Make Up, Eraser

Floating Points, Pharoah Sanders & The London Symphony Orchestra - Promises
80

Definitely worth a full listen, fascinating album

Fennesz - Venice
74

This is a colder, more distant album than the in-your-face ambience of Endless Summer. The textures are more buried in the mix, which results in the absence of noisiness and harshness to a certain degree. It also means that the album is more relaxing and peaceful

Fav songs: Château Rouge, Circassian

DORIS - Ultimate Love Songs Collection

There's 50 songs, most of them are around a minute long. Most of the production is looping samples with weird production and minimal drums. DORIS just kinda mumbles on the beat, not too sure what he's talking about most of the time. This album slaps

Fav songs: close friends, +2s, winning numbers, Hesi, BURNING, Overzealous

Charli xcx - BRAT

I thought I got it and then I saw everyone giving it 100.

Fav songs: Von Dutch, 360, Sympathy is a knife, Girl, so confusing, ending of 365 is dope

Dan Mason ダン·メイソン - Hypnagogia
67

Fav songs: Insomnia, Melatonin High, Good Night, Hopefully Forever

death's dynamic shroud - Heavy Black Heart
83

I feel like I'm slightly underrating this, but I haven't listened to it too much yet. This truly sounds like a death's dynamic shroud album in the best way. Great sampling, buildups, and fun to listen to

(Edit) 75 -> 83

I used to think that Faith In Persona was the best dds album to start with when you're first getting into to them, but now I think this is just as good as an introductory album, and maybe better at covering the different styles you find throughout their ... read more

TAKE A WALK!!! 🗣️🗣️ YOU DESERVE IT 🗣️🗣️

The Decemberists - As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again

Not really an album I see myself listening to much. Not many bad songs on it but none really stood out either. except for the last song which was pretty cool

Fav songs: Burial Ground, Joan in the Garden

DORIS - Usher

"Good review Bread. I think it is ok to not have an introspective take on a piece of work like this, especially if it is still fresh. Bjork's writing can be pretty abstract - which adds to the magic, but also lends itself more to feeling the music as opposed to analysis"

"@dontneedauserna Lol to each his own I think the Injury Reserve album has lots of cool ideas that ive never heard other artists do, and because of that I find it not boring since it keeps my attention, I also just think it's enjoyable to listen to. This Vince album was pretty tame to me. I feel like ive heard Vince make similar songs before. I've also heard Vince make some really interesting songs, and I felt they were lacking on this album. But yes you're right, we are now square"

On gabs7's review of JPEGMAFIA - SIN MIEDO
"I understand this take, Im also not a huge fan of this single. but you gotta think back to the singles he's put out for albums in the past, which are typically his most straightforward tracks. Lean Beef Patty, Hazard Duty Pay, Trust, Jesus forgive me, etc. I think this is another case of a song like that, cuz I had the same thoughts for some of those songs, and then ended up liking them a lot more when the album came out"
