At first I really liked this song back in 2012 when I first listened to it cuz it's pop
Then I was too old to listen to it cuz I was 10 and that means I was a man so I couldn't listen to girly tracks
Then I liked it again when people started playing it as nostalgia pop and saying their favorite genre is "white girl music"
Then I disliked it again cuz this is just so boring compared to other 2010s era pop, Snoops verse is mid, etc etc
+20 points for golden era of pop
Look at Earl man so inspirational
I don't know what I was really expecting coming into this project from Voir Dire. That collab was definitely my favorite Earl album, but I wasn't exactly expecting him to top that coming into this due to limited promotion and some snippets I had heard.
That being said, I still like this record a lot. It very much feels like Some Rap Songs if Earl was fully healed when he created it. Topically, this album is almost mundane, with it largely being ... read more

I was looking for a new album to play in the background while I was working on a project, and selected this after some random scouring. It did not do its job. I'm just tryna make a 6 slide presentation and this thing is making me sob while I'm researching.
Love the whole aesthetic. Makes me feel like I'm at a East Asian (cuz the project I was doing was on Sendai) harbor looking out into the deep blue, contemplating how things have been going in my life. The instrumentation on ... read more
I would fuck my computer too
First album long experience with EDM still not a fan of the genre but there's some standouts here
Is this too chronically online to play at the function? Someone please educate me
Unsuccessful hate listen #2. As repayment to JVB for unreasonably hating, here my fav bars:
"Sydney Sweeney called me and I hanged up" π€£π€£π€£ Relatable to ALL of us
"I'm like 2018 LeBron James (the GOAT)" ππβοΈβοΈJVB really knows ball 2018 LeBron is the greatest prime of any player ever
"Love you more than FL Studio" shawty must be fine π€€π€€π€€
"I just wanna play Xbox" let him play Xbox ππππ

I've been waiting for this for way too long. When God Does Like Ugly was announced nearly 6 months ago, I had it marked on my calendar as the date album of the year would drop. A lot has changed since then. Clipse has come back. Tyler shadow dropped an album. Quadeca dropped peak. The real question is how does this project compete with the field? Is it better than that new Gunna album (duh ofc it is hahaha)

It's JID week, so I decided to relisten to DiCaprio 2 all the way through. The great part about this album is its consistency. The worst tracks can at worst be called average JID songs. The highs are great too. The 5 track run from Westbrook to Workin Out is straight heat. This album definitely has some of JID's best pure rapping ability, and I hope to be able to see some of that on GDLU.
Coming into this after listening to Charm a while back, it's easy to see Clairo's musical evolution. I was surprised by some of the cuts where she really displayed her vocal range on here, but there's just too many tracks that are absolute skips. The intro is insanely boring. The album picks up around the middle for sure. Two of my favorite tracks from this had to be Softly and Sofia. At the end of the day, this album was definitely feeling around trying to find Clairo's ... read more
Brainless fun. You're gaining no substance out of listening to "you said you gon' fuck me to death when you see me", but I'd be lying if I didn't say that You Said has been in rotation constantly for months. Project kinda drops off in the last 3rd, but still hella fun
its been said before but toby fox is a much better musician than game designer, and Undertale is one of the most acclaimed RPGs ever. not much else to be said
Off the wall, bursting with energy. Replace every Teller Bank$ feature with Danny Brown and this thing is an 100
Never expected to like a Yeat project this much. Really energetic, Yeat feels engaged on most of this and we get some great BNYX/Working on Dying production throughout. FKA Twigs and Yeat is the duo I didn't know I needed until now. Peak. End review
This is an absolute love letter to ATL from Metro. That being said, this thing is slop. No need to be over an hour long for a mixtape. So many wack/unserious performances. It's a shame too because I love the early trap late 2000s era production this thing pulls from. I really didn't hear a bad beat this whole project. Might be the most fun I've had with what I'd call a bad mixtape
Same tier as the first Saturation. Still really fun, some big bangers in here but I liked some individual tracks on the first album more than I liked the highlights of this one.
