jesus this is awful.
i kind of know that they have an hip hop history, but this just sounds bad. Hats off for them to experiment on the sound but wow they didn't even listen to the songs again.
The pop tracks are ok almost good, even though they just repeat the same hook over and over.. Swim swim swim, which in portuguese is Nada and that also means nothing, so a bunch of nothing.

only today i learned that neil young is part of this band for the next albums of them. Cmon, have some imagination for a band name other than pilling up your names.

I'll compare this with Harvest which was the album of the day 2 days ago. With just 3 years apart from them (Harvest is from 1972) the difference is big on the production. This project doesn't have the strong single power that Harvest has.

I'm so into it, i love the sound of this weird indian instrument. But if it was just that throughout the project it would get boring. The layers that this has make for a good trip and psychedelic experience.
The only song that has vocals is the weakest (Raghupati). Doesn't focus on the ambience and the vocals are not it.

i already saw the movie.. in my head.
This was a trip, i can imagine a story. A virgin feels sad because she cannot get into it with someone and then the sadness becomes depression and she wants to suicide. wow what a story this brings me into.

Not all are bangers but the first few tracks are amazing. I can't explain how they do it, because the genre is already too explored and can become so repetitive and feel satirated, but they bring passion and great sounding electronics.

I feel this is timeless in the wrong way. Feels 80s but is not dated (not every song).
The stronger songs are hits the rest is forgettable and kinda messy.
Sting's voice is so recognizable, but the vocals can ruin the songs like in 'Does Everyone Stare'.

Well well well, its accessible but not that much, i didn't know i would like slacker rock this much and anything related to country but here we go. Really liked this. His voice is not perfect, it kinda feels like he is a bad singer but the emotion comes through. Has some funny lyrics, like 'Tennessee.. The only ten i see is you', lame, but funny.

damn so chill, well produced and inoffensive.
