Has it's moments of trance, but they're few. Still is a great effort and positively executed. Keep trying and experimenting James, you're amazing.
In terms of single song listening, it doesn't have the power other projects from him have. That's a shame I really love some of his songs, but the album is not that listenable outside the whole project and i don't see me coming back to it.

find the title a bit narcissistic, no?
Love ray charles, this doesn't have his greatest hits, i guess i would prefer other album, but this is great for the year
as chill as you can chill to be chilly with chilliness.

reaction: damn. might be my favorite album of like um all time? maybe.
review: hits like a mother when her son just finished painting what he thinks is his magnum opus on the bedroom wall with a pink plasticine. (this isn't necessarily based on true facts)

Soo, I find the lyrics kind of annoying and preachy, although I agree with the message.
I was actually surprised by the sound of it. Ignorance from my side, but I didn't know at all that Janets work we're so acclaimed, but now I know and understand why. This has energy funkiness and artistry. Some 80s sounding, but with a lot of experimental elements, so it doesn't really sound dated.
That little scream in almost all of the songs is funny, that high pitched ... read more

Funny that i listened to this for the first time two weeks ago.
What made me do it was, i really love some songs from Wilco and wanted to know them better. Dont think this is a good way to be presented to them
they just fell on earth and are helping us with an interplanetal contest with a giant face saying "SHOW ME WHAT YOU GOT."
And we're going to win and not be destroyed because of them, thanks a lot Angine (this name gives me cramps just by saying it).
Reminds me of King Gizzard, but they have their own sound
no no no, why? golden just functions because its a really produced pop song, doesnt work on other context.

It might be the headache i have now but this is not hitting and is a bit bloated.
I'll have to listen another time.
This is perfecto. It tickles my fancy, yeahyeah i like scaring people in general, and the baddies too
The production, aside from mixing.. Its stellar, the sampling from jpeg is just from another world. Danny brown does the incredible job of rapping in the most insane beats, which he already had history doing
i love this. ambient, with weird loops that sound like lost tapes that one random guy that smells bed on his 36 born on Philadelphia had on the basement for 13 years below all the dust. And the rapping.. duud
not boring at all, the production is on levels yet to be described, but i guess it'll make more sense on the album, i dont think it works as a single, too weird to put it solo.
the first track set the expectations for what was not going to happen, this being a banger for 13 min

I just know two songs from Dusty Springfield, Spooky and Son of a Preacherman and i really like those tracks
Solid record, her voice is sweet and soothing.
I like the recent remastered version, well produced, but please someone explain WHY is everyone so in love with putting instruments just on one side of my head.
I feel like i didn't care much about this today, i might revisit on a cozy setting.

I'm young. I never listened to Tina Turner's songs besides the most commercial ones. Expected this to feel like the 80s and it does, feels old, but Tina's performance is grapping and the synths are kinda cool.
Full on energetic from top to bottom.
the intro is funny
Nice funk, nothing much to say. The vocalists voice crackin and being breathy makes for a tastefull ride, but all funky voices are like that.
Nothing that hasn't been done prior to this sooo

i must've already stumbled upon The Temptations, cause im a big fan of funk, blues soul from the 70s, but i really dont remember a single song from them. Let's see if this makes a lasting impression.
Another band that likes to mess with the stereo directions of the instruments. This made me think i had some problem with my headphones.
It's full of finesse, sexyness (if thats a thing, im illiterate), love inducing.

Oh the first album from the band that invented music.
The Beatles must have a kink for messing with the stereo making sounds go for the right or the left.
Am i the only one not messing with this?
The beats are not it, but the performance is carrying, frenetic passing
I loved the latest La reezy album but idk this is not boppin for some reason
