The production feels like I'm on the bathroom of their concert.
How much bass do you want? Yes.

Beck has just got the immense style to pull this kinda beats.
It's alt rock with beats? say what. How are you mixing drum beats with rock instrumentation and it sounds this good. and it keeps adding interesting instruments or sounds.
Very nice listen while vacuuming the house.
The production in this is crazy good. Almost every minute I'm hearing a new thing that is really satisfying in the ears, like in the simple track Broken ... read more

Not a single idea to what this will be, the hope real.
This has energy, its clever on its lyrics on the opening track which is the best.
Nothing much to add, didn't really have the time to hear it with much attention. That's the thing with an album a day, some won't have the amount of concentration that is deserved. I like the mood this leaves me in, gives me energy and motivation.

whimsical fairytale medieval feeling. unfortunately, won't have time to dissolve the poetry she's spittin, but it sounds sweet and very descriptive. That timbre is nice.
i wish i'd listened to his while playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance. It would've propelled even further the immersion in the medieval age.
filho da mãe, este gaj é incrível.

From the intricate history knowledge he is spitting to the funky catchy melodies and sounds that we hear this is masterfully done.
First time that i listen to this and certainly not the last. I'm already a huge fan of Jorge Ben Jor
Xica Da Silva is one of that songs that just make me go to another place, without words.

UUUUUUUUHHH i wanted to give the time to listen to this. So the that time has come.
So they hit you full force with Roundabout and leave you hangin with quirky classical music. I'd hang out with the band integrants, they seem like fun.
And they do it again... and again, quirky interlude after quirky interlude, we have bangers.

Interesting pull, huge fan of David bowie last project Blackstar, but never had that kind of feeling towards another project by him, let's see if this sticks.
Nothing to read, nothing to say, I'm blown away.

I like very much a lot of Belle and Sebastian and I think I've already listened to this. Lets see.
This puts me at peace, such a nice cozy yet demanding of attention experience
This was not at all what I was expecting for and kind of pisses me off. It doesn't do anything new, it's almost fun but it's just too generic, feel like I already listened to this.
The thing that's putting me off the most is Bruno is doing a good performance with all those vocal inversions and stuff he does, over very bland instrumentation. Or maybe the performance isn't that passionate, just technically good.

DAMN I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. I already had a deep dive into this album before, but any excuse to return to it is welcomed.
Starting to realise the wikipedia resume of the albums doesn't help a thing. Not one reference to what the album is about or who is Anohni, which is important to appreciate this album more than just it's extraordinary vocals and instrumentation.

Prelistening: ig bruce is going to be bangin his way in a lot more times, cause this ain't his most recognized album by a big margin. I really don't have much of love nor hate for him, for me he has a good voice and yeah that's nice, good for him.

You have an album cover that looks like the most metalcore metal has ever been and then give clapping session in a middle of a song, what?
Um, this is not for me, no no. It's teatrical... feels fake, premeditaded, like too calculated, previsible. Don't throw this kind of rock ballads to me. I like teatrical in projects like Black ... read more

big time is my favorite.
The songs are very long, but they reward the pacience and it doesn't get tiresome.

really like this, it scratches my itch for alternative rock. This is playfull and fun, always doing something different, not repeting too much of the same structure, the songs evolve.
Before hearing i read a lot of reviews saying this looked and is a mid album. I cant agree, maybe its because my roots are alt rock indie rock and this bangs on it
