very pleasing drone from one of my favorite musicians. hurts my ears like god intended. has some absolutely amazing parts (mostly in title track?) which take me back to when i first got into sprain. despite the super harsh parts this album is more peaceful than what i would have expected from him, and would make great studying music (as long as i constantly watch my volume)

my new favorite project from the recently-disbanded glass beach. with hard-hitting lines and heavy progressions, i, in contrast, float like a feather and ascend like whatever creature is in the album cover. glass beach weaves metaphors into their lyrics in a way that engaged me, complimented by their riffs developing to be better than ever. my standouts include the stellar opener "coelacinth", "rare animal", and above all, ... read more
