this was my first listen to very early $uicideboys- and I must say I like it far more. The production on this is excellent and the beats, particularly on “Where’s your god?” Are creative, and remarkable. Some of this album is bogged down by generic flows or lyrics especially in the middle of the album like with “crucify me wearing Tommy” which is a mediocre song at best that bored me a bit with its slower paced raps and beat. For the most part, the instrumentation/ beats were the best standout factor for this album, with the following up being ruby’s verses. The general lack of diverse sounds and flows really dragged some of this record down- along with many of $crims verses falling completely flat.

Decently painful listen. Mike’s vocals for the most part sound painfully un-entergetic and boring, and the lyrics are laughably predictable and generic. Emily’s vocals aren’t awful but on the slower songs, she did was cut out for. There are some solid instrumentation on this album and some of them are even creative but that can not make up for the overall lack of creativeness. This album is very good throughout. There are definitely weaker songs/ songs that are alright but even those are solid and I understand why those are on the album. The standouts for me were ashes to ashes, kingdom come, teenage wildfire, among a few others. The weakest track to me was up the hill backwards- which just felt bland.
