I’m gonna cry mane.
This is some otherworldly shit right here, that real fuck you up in the head type. I’ve been listening to so much Natural Snow Buildings recently and I can’t tell if it’s hurting my mental health or not. The music these guys make is so damn intense and emotional I find myself feeling so heavy after hearing a new project by them. I love this shit though, the music is incredible, but I might be losing my mind.

Drake Slop Part: 3
Nyquil the album
Finally we can finish off this Drake slopfest with HABIBTI the final piece of the trilogy to top all trilogies. Hear that Swans, Drake topped your entire trilogy in one day, now who is the real goat of music? I fell asleep while listening to this record and no the sleep wasn’t induced by the fact I was sick it was most definitely due to the fact melatonin music was softly coercing my penal gland. Now perhaps my sickness may have hurt my enjoyment of ... read more

Ain't no competition, just competing for attention

Drake Slop Part: 2
The Stephen Hawking feature on BBW really sold this shit hole of a record for me.
While Iceman may have been boring, it wasn’t flat out bad, it was just mediocre, Maid Of Honor on the other hand is terrible. There are little to no redeeming qualities to be shown, Maid Of Honor is Drake at his absolute worst. I guess Drake saw that Honestly Nevermind was a bad take on Dancehall so he decided why not try again? Somehow he made an even worse Dancehall record that I will ... read more
Drake Slop Part: 1
Whether good or bad, Toronto last Friday was something else, it felt like the city came back alive for the first time since the Jays went on that run last October. For that, thank you Drake since you seem to be the only one who can unite our city and country when things feel stale. After Friday the weather has gotten better, I got fucking sick and suddenly things seem pretty damn good. Drake might really be Canadian Jesus.
Onto the music itself, Iceman is once again another ... read more
Genuinely a fantastic release. Both of these songs are so damn good, I didn’t fully get them during my first listen, but now I realize how special these 2 are. “Love is a State” is still for sure my favorite but man “Eyelash” is so good too. Very different from a lot of his recent stuff, Bladee can truly do anything most diverse man out there.
My friend called me a downer the other day so I decided that I should be a bit more optimistic and hopeful. So when I decided to put on St. Anger I was ready to finally see the sunshine of the world once again and not look at everything so negatively. I sat on my bed, plugged my headphones in and pressed play.
Immediately this fantasy was washed away by the sound of a garbage can being hit with a styrofoam baseball bat, and a guitar riff that sounded like a storm troopers blaster firing. ... read more
I’m sorry this is actually pretty good
EDIT: I re-listened 2 minutes after writing this and it’s way worse than I remember. +10 points for making me laugh
Danny Brown is that you?
Seriously though I can’t be the only one who hears the similarities in the vocals.
I haven’t been super on top of everything coming out this year since honestly the 2020’s have not really been my jam. For the most part it’s been music from the past or a decade back or so. This year however I’m gonna prove my old stigma wrong though and try to listen to more new music. The last couple of days I’ve been tackling Theft World by Lip ... read more
American Football returns with a solid and enjoyable record that sees their sound shift to post-rock and dream pop.
After a 7 year absence the Footballers have comeback and delivered a record I was very hyped for. Though I'm not a huge midwest emo fan, American Football is the staple of the genre due to their landmark debut self titled. This being their fourth self titled record which I'll refer to as 4 makes this their culmination of years of development over nearly 30 years. With ... read more
I listened to this record well blasted out of my mind and I couldn’t believe what the fuck I was hearing.
“Future Days” by CAN is about as hypnotic and psychedelic as music can really get before becoming mediocre. From beginning to end (especially at the end however) this album feels like a trip throughout all of time and back. The progression, constant tempo changes, drum fills and jams the band goes on throughout feels eerily similar to being in a psychedelic state. In ... read more
The greatest band of all time starts their 7 years of music with "Please Please Me"
4 young men from England made a 40 minute debut in just 1 day. The Beatles recorded their first album all in one day and the album was released only 5 days later. The Beatles may not have known it then, but they soon realised they were going to be the biggest band in England, and then the biggest in America, then the whole world. The Beatles became the biggest band in the world through 7 years from ... read more
My headphones are still gone, new ones coming Tuesday
I'll continue looking at classics as I stated on the Red review so let's take a look at one of the disturbing songs in Memphis hip-hop. I actually didn't know that Lil Ugly Mane made rap music for the longest time. I had only heard Volcanic Bird Enemy and the Voiced Concern, but none of his earlier works. When I found out that he had originally made hip-hop specifically Memphis and horrorcore I was interiged. Listening to ... read more
My headphones are broken so I’m going to continue reviewing classics in the meantime before I can continue to tap back into new stuff.
King Crimson's Red stands as one of the strongest prog records to ever be recorded and a great contender for the best album the band released. For me I honestly cannot decide between In The Court Of The Crimson King or Red and I personally don’t really care for the debate since two goats can exist at once. What’s more important is the ... read more

If you can figure out which riff that is you probably have a brain the size of a sperm whale congratulations.
It’s time to review the classic of all classic metal records, Ride The Lightning, Metallica’s sophomore release and in my opinion their best work. A record densely packed with fast paced riffs, incredible bass lines, vocals that sound like the kid who wouldn’t shut the fuck up in 3rd grade and shitty drums. Ride The ... read more
