Beats felt monotone and boring and the bass was obnoxious but Freddie's rapping really helps.
I wanted to give this a 30 for a joke cus 30 is way too old to be doing all this... but as the last song played i realized this was way worse than a 30
This was surprisingly really good. I don't really listen to Kanye for lyrics or a flawless vocal performance its mainly for the production and this album delivers, but I understand why people who listen to lyrics hate this album with lyrics like "When I laid down gave you the semen I swear I heard god the voice of Morgan Freeman" and the entirety of Louie Bags which lowkey started to piss me off midway through. Also songs like We Did it Kid and Security need to be released and would ... read more
A flawless blend between genres and Steve Lacy's light vocals overtop really make the album
A nice warm album I should definitely come back to more
Falsetto vocals are very bad and the album is so light it leaves me whos not usually into metal wanting more heavy metal parts
The atmosphere of this album is unmatched and while it may not be their most accomplished or best release it certainly proves to be one of THE albums in Beach Houses insane discography
I don't know how Danny and Jpeg managed to each make this album that is SO different from anything else previously released by them. Some of these samples are the most random shit but it's genius how they mold with the drums and give the perfect base for Danny and Jpeg. Danny absolutely thrives on these beats and Jpeg also spits some bars which I didn't know he could do before this album. Definitely Jpegs finest work and the beats on this album are just something else so props to him.
Edit: 84-88
Rough moments throughout but very replayable and I'm extremely glad this was released
Great gaming album but I'm not sure its half as good when I'm giving it my full attention
There are some songs that I can't quite enjoy as much like Guilt Trip and Blood on the Leaves, but this is a fantastic album
Obviously I would rather listen to The Money Store or most Death Grips albums but it's still a cool listen. I wish there was more stuff like On Sight on here with the crazy synths than stuff that feels like it belongs in a fortnite montage like Blood on the Leaves.
Donda by Kanye West showcases everything Kanye has accomplished over the years with the impressive features and the flawless blend between genres as usual. An unforgettable album rollout experience and I genuinely love every moment of the album.
Sometimes all Beyoncé has to show is her flair, but it still makes for a fun listen
The bass mixing is very loud which is great and the beats are excellent but what makes this slightly worse than other Death Grips releases is the energy from MC Ride and lack of samples. Some songs may come off as slightly worse than others but there isnt any negative point to this album, it just feels a little one dimensional and it's consistently not THE best.
Fun album it does get a little boring and the mixing can be off but its just fun and even tho its trap yachty has his own style
