i'm sorry i ain't feeling this one :/
chorus is a bit too repetitive and the song as a whole is really stripped down to a point where it bothers me. i can't really think of many fiona songs i like less than this one.
at least i do understand why people may find enjoyment in this sound, and the message trying to be conveyed is super important and done through clever lyrics like fiona always does.
by far their weakest lead single, as it doesn't have that same excitement that characterized each of the previous lead singles by AF and made them so good. this sounds really lacking in energy: there's barely any emotional build up, no change of pace, or anything that makes this song feel like something that would stand out from the rest and make it replayable, or a banger, or an emotionally crushing song. i'd like to be hopeful and hold onto thinking that this album is holding ... read more
