A sort of merge between their previous two albums' in terms of sound, 10,000 Days is another massive progressive metal album.
Musically, I went into this thing knowing what the expect, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The vocals on the album are great, and he nails his career-defining moment on both parts (especially the second) the monolithic and incredibly emotional 'Wings for Marie'. His vocals, oddly enough, on all but a few tracks sounds as if he's a bit younger than on its ... read more
A blistering and thundering thrash metal album that truly deserves to be called a classic.

I knew this album was going to be horrible, but my morbid curiosity got to the better of me. 'Nine' is a pop-punk mess, and this is coming from a person who enjoys the genre and band more than most.
The album is musically quite boring. Blink continues on the over-produced (although maybe not to the same extent) as 'California', pop-punk formula, and somehow manages to worsen it. The vocals are, usually, quite average. I wouldn't say that they're all too horrific, and the two vocalists do bounce ... read more
