disappointed to say the least. Over-bloated and forgettable, a lot of this comes across as throwaway easy to listen to contemporary R&B.

This is soooo annoying bc it’s far and away one of the cleanest produced albums of the year but I just can’t bring myself to listen to more than three songs on the bounce bc of how much of a cornball his delivery is.

This album doesn’t have to do much in order to be great because of the perfect execution of something so simple. Just some raw guitar textures and soft and cozy vocals done right and what comes out is this spacey enigma of a record that wraps you in a comfort blanket made of sound tones.

I can’t score it much higher because my tastes always lean towards maximalist rather than minimalist, but honestly, I couldn’t recommend this enough specifically as background music to calm ... read more
