Slightly overproduced and patchy, but nonetheless a solid follow up to LP3 that’s definitely willing to take chances.
Real quality soul record. First 4 songs are must listens
Definite highs and lows. You could grab like 8 tracks and make one of the greatest albums ever. You could also grab another 8 and make a truly substandard and shoddy collection of experimental slow burners
Funky, melodic, and sonically inventive. “I wanna keep somebody happy” and “Determination” are standouts
One of the funniest and simultaneously beautiful albums I’ve heard. A must-listen soul classic
When did Stevie wonder make this one? Also, maybe top 10 album cover oat?
Something about this album infinitely allures me. It’s warm, fuzzy, weird, and entrancing. Give it a listen
