this is amazing i can't lie. like a serious grower im not kidding.

arguably one of their greatest records produced to date, 'private music' is the exact "reinvention" they needed to showcase why they are still considered one of the best to ever do it.

I don't know who this is, but this cover piqued my interest, and I am absolutely obsessed.

I think people focus too much on the fact that Phil Elverum co-produced this record and are looking for him to be all over this instead of Mirah being the centerfold (figuratively). If you release the preconceived notions, this project is good.

Such a clean album; it's a shame it has been overexposed, now people think it's cool to mock it as a way to be different.

Overall, a cute project, but I wish she would lean into her art more. This could very well have been a longer EP. It feels like she constantly teases us. Shows what she can do, lets us in on her versatility, but pulls back when you get too comfortable.
