A really fun and solid showing. Really enjoying the production on this thing. Needs to distinguish itself songwriting and aesthetically from its influences a bit more though.
I really wanted to like this band but as time goes on I can't help but feel so disillusioned with them. I originally had this as an 8, but now its the only album I think they have that even breaks a six. The aesthetic of the band as a whole has continuously degraded on me over the last year or so and I can confidently say I dislike them as a band.

The fact that this album is so experimental and sonically out of wack while also being so heart-wrenchingly devastating from cut to cut is just mindblowing.
If they dropped an album that was entirely on this level I’d be inclined to consider a 100
