Strood

A lot of the metal instrumentals are enjoyable but as per usual with this band there are two main issues with this project:

1. Every attempt at genre bend, any song or texture that strays from their Djent sound ranges from either cringe and rancid to boring and empty

2. Their vocalist is cringe, writes horrible, tasteless melodies that don't fit with the instrumentals at all, and ruins everything the band might have going for them

Super overrated. This should be an EP with half the current track list max. Some cool songs, but tons of half baked, uninteresting filler as well. Lyrics arent great either, nor is the front-woman’s choice of phrasing and melody

This is just too fucking wholesome a sound to discover from her as someone who's coming from her recent projects. Puts a smile on my face for sure.
