north west is 12 years old and making music like this which is really cool. it isn’t perfect as i feel like it is underwhelming in some aspects but honestly i enjoyed this. i think kanye’s dna is really showing with this ep. im proud of north this was a fun listen

i dont like shit i dont go outside is earl basically becoming more depressed after doris and i way prefer the production on this. i feel like there’s alot of low end which suits earl’s sad raps. better than doris but uhm thats it.

oh my fucking god these transitions. i listened to this album on a glorious sunny ass day while walking my dog and it hits different. i found out about slayr last year when he dropped this tape but i never bothered to put it on until recently. i listened to sloppy joe just to see what the hype was about and i was hooked. i should’ve done this review sooner but i kinda just put it off. anyways banger album i love it.

comparing to the only other death grips album i’ve listened to (which is the money store) this one is alot more ahem… experimental then that album. the only criticism i have is i feel like songs just kinda blend in together and don’t feel that distinct from each other. oh yeah and the 67 song is the best one here. great album enjoyed it alot.

this album is so underrated and i’m sad r.e.m. doesn’t get the love they deserve while the smiths and morrissey’s racist ass are thriving alongside male manipulators and shein goths while r.e.m. are just kinda known as a dad band slowly being forgotten. i love r.e.m. and i love this album. it’s a very catchy, memorable and just overall incredible album. i am begging for you to listen to this. please listen to it. please listen to it. please listen to it. please listen to ... read more
this album is kinda like the holy bible but for white 14 year old boys who just started listening to earl sweatshirt and think they know real hiphop and call any trap music “generic and boring” while also having “watched” (aka skipped to the end to see the score) 4 fantano reviews and feeling like they can formulate an opinion on an album even though 2 weeks ago they called graduation by kanye west the best album of all time. i can’t say much, i’m a statistic ... read more
atrocity exhibition is considered one of the best rap albums of all time and does it deserve that title… i’d say so. this album is pretty consistent until about the last couple of songs where while i think they are great songs, they aren’t on the level of what came before it. the sounds on this album are very interesting and also he somehow convinced kendrick lamar to do a song on this album. overall amazing but the last couple of tracks needed a bit more work.

this is an interesting one. some rap songs is an album i’ve listened to like 10 times before i wrote this review just because this album is just great background noise. it has a really nice vibe and sound to it that is the first thing i think of when someone mentions “abstract hip hop”. i also bought the album on vinyl before i even properly listened to it. this is a pretty messy review but yeah.

we all know michael jackson. we all love michael jackson. we’ve all listened to his singles so going into this album i’ve already listened to half of it just because i’ve known these songs since like forever. even though thriller gets a bit more love than bad, i actually prefer this album to it just because i think the hits hit harder on this one. i love thriller but none of the songs have the same energy as speed demon and also this album just has way more personality ... read more
this album just hits so hard man. it took me like since last november to finish this album but i’m glad i did because these songs are so punchy and just hit haaard. the drums are on a different level and pharell’s vocals just feel so emotional. the first half is better though but still a great one.

this album is considered one of the best albums of all time but… i don’t really get it. i enjoyed it alot, it's a very tight sounding album with alot of emotion behind it but it doesn’t really do anything to move outside of the box. it’s just a well made album and that’s it. while i don’t find this to be a 10/10 like alot of people seem to do, this is a pretty short and sweet project and it is worth the 42 minute runtime.

i was at a record fair today and i purchased this album on cd. it was an album i had been wanting to listen to for a while and i think buying the cd ultimately made me give it a go and… i think this album is overrated. don't get me wrong it is a pretty great album but the problem is i just don’t find this album to be too interesting or memorable. its mainly about love which im all down for but the christian aspects i couldn’t really care for. its still a pretty good ... read more
when i first learned of the panchiko story back a couple of years ago, i was intrigued as to what this was. i listened to the first track and thought it was cool but i didnt listen to the ep fully although i have listened to their album ginkgo and it was a pretty enjoyable experience. coming back to this and im impressed by the fact that this was from 2000. this sounds like something that could’ve been made today and no one would even come close to the thought that this sounds outdated. ... read more
4:44 is the last jay-z album i think we will ever get and if we’re being honest, this is a pretty high note to end it off of. this is billionaire rapist jay-z maturing and growing up. there are some of jay-z’s best songs like ‘the story of o.j.’ and the title track ‘4:44’. overall a great listen and i do see myself returning to this one.

10,000 gecs is something ive always been somewhat eager to check out. money machine was one of my most listened to songs last year and ive listened to the first album a decent bit. ive just never really bothered to give this one a listen until now and… i like it. i do think some elements of it are a little bit cringeworthy but other than that it was a great listen and im gonna have this one playing for the next little while.

a few months ago back in november i listened to loveless and gave it a 100. i listened to that
album alot and its become one of my favourite albums but i’ve never really bothered to get into the rest of my bloody valentine’s discography. today i gave m b v a listen and i like it. it didn’t particularly wow me like loveless did but it was a fun time. it had a more cleaner sound than loveless and there were some great songs on here like “only tomorrow” and “if ... read more
madvillainy. everyone’s listened to it and everyone knows it and before going into this i knew about a third of the tracklist from just spotify occasionally recommending me songs here or there and from the songs i had listened to i never really saw this album as being an all time classic like its regarded as but i gave it a listen and i get it. madlibs production on these songs is incredible like on songs such as “america’s most blunted” and “raid” matched ... read more
gorillaz are one of my favourite artists of all time. i consider demon days to be one of my favourite albums ever and it basically got me into hip hop which is my favourite genre of music. when this album got announced i was really hyped and listening to the singles like the happy dictator and the manifesto got me extremely excited and did they deliver?… absolutely. this is an incredible album with a big indian influence which makes these songs flourish and creates a pretty unique vibe ... read more
die lit is an interesting one where i have listened to this album a decent bit with songs like r.i.p. and long time but i’ve never fully listened to it. anyways i gave it a listen today and i liked it alot. these songs are just bangers and nothing else. i unfortunately don’t have much to say about this album.
