BTS - LOVE YOURSELF 轉 'Tear'
70

"Love Yourself 轉 Tear" one of the best works of the South Korean group, immerses itself in strong and mature lyrics about love, without fantastical relationships of happy forever, also always talking about self love, the sound escapes EDM and we have songs that embrace R&B and Hip-Hop, with powerful flows, "Tear" is an ambitious and well done conceptual work.

Best: 134340, Fake Love, Intro: Singularity, The Truth Untold, Paradise, Airplane, Pt. 2, Anpanman, So What, ... read more

BTS - MAP OF THE SOUL : PERSONA
65

"MAP OF SOUL: Persona" has lyrics that portray the human psyche, addressing themes of mental health and relationships in the lyric part, has captivating synthesizers and is a very colorful EP but this is far from perfect, Persona is an average EP with some points tall but that's it, BTS are quite talented (whether you accept it or not) but here they don't use their full potential.

Best: Boy With Luv, Mikrokosmos, Make It Right.

Lykke Li - I Never Learn
85

I Never Learn is one of my favorite albums to listen to when I'm in the shit, it's as melancholy as a cloudy and rainy day, Lykki Lee gives life to his lyrics that hurt his soul with his dramatic and very emotional voice packed with acoustic guitars that make that record even more true.

Best: I Never Learn, No Rest For The Wicked, Just Like A Dream, Silverline, Love Me Like I'm Not Made Of Stone, Never Gonna Love Again, Heart Of Steel, Sleeping Alone.

Hayley Williams - Petals For Armor I
75

I'm really looking forward to Hayley's solo album, Paramore is one of my favorite bands and this Willians project really pleased me, it sounds very Radiohead to me that I also love.

Best: Simmer, Leave It Alone, Cinnamon, Creepin', Sudden Desire.

Halsey - hopeless fountain kingdom
65

hopeless fountain kingdom second Halsey's studio album is a big leap compared to his debut, although it is nothing big it is a very decent album, focused on R&B and songs about failed relationships that are listenable.

Best: Strangers, Sorry, Bad At Love, Alone, Walls Could Talk, Lies.

Nicki Minaj - The Pinkprint
75

The Pinkprint is the artist's most cohesive project, the lyrics are also more serious and show a vulnerable Nicki Minaj with very personal and emotional songs, the sound still flirting a lot with pop music but that was never a problem, but here it is more subtle , of course, what would be an album by Nicki Minaj without comedic moments like in “Trini Dem Girls“ or in “Anaconda” a track that is very hated by the users of this site for what I realized but that for me is ... read more

MARINA - FROOT
75

FROOT is the apex of Marina's discography to date, with well-written and strong lyrics like "Savages", very catchy pop songs like the singles "Blue" and the great "Froot" a disco song with influences from the 80's, and the minimalism in the nostalgic "Gold" and "Immortal", is a very balanced album that shows how much the artist has matured since her previous album "Electra Heart" with songs dragged by EDM and Electropop downed.

Florence + the Machine - Ceremonials
75

The vocal performance of Florence is even more powerful in the second studio album by the band Florence + the Machine, "Ceremonials" has an aura of mysticism with good compositions and epic frames with a classic look but the disc during its course ends up torturing itself a little massive, but nothing that takes much of the shine out of that work.

Best: Shake It Out, Never Let Me Go, Only If for Night, What The Water Gave Me, Breaking Down, Seven Devils, Spectrum, Leave My Body.

Mariah Carey - Mariah Carey
65

Very influential album for artists of the genre, and vocally, it's a very promising debut, but in general the album is a little tedious for me.

Best: Vision of love, There's got to be a away, Someday, Alone in love, You need Me, Love takes time.

Kim Petras - TURN OFF THE LIGHT
75

"Turn Off the Light" electronic mixtape and dance-pop inspired by Halloween, a holiday that was defined by the artist as "Gay Christmas" is basically that, a regatta of club and electrifying music that would raise any lgbt nightclub.

Best: Purgatory, There Will Be Blood, Wrong Turn, Death By Sex, Close Your Eyes, TRANSylvania, Turn Off the Light, Tell Me It’s a Nightmare, Boo! Bitch!.

Halsey - BADLANDS
45

Halsey's promising debut, "Badlands" has a beautiful aesthetic and for me it dies there, the album is packed with R&B songs, electropop and with a dark footprint, but everything is so poor the production doesn't catch you and it's all very monotone.

Best: Castle, Colors.

TWICE - FANCY YOU
80

Fancy You is a change of concept that Twice was used to, it still has all the sweetness of the group's old works but now with a new and more mature outfit, the B-Sides are better worked here and not only the title as focus but yes the whole set, Fancy is one of my favorite songs of 2019 the definition of K-Pop Perfection.

Best: Fancy, Hot, Girls Like Us, Turn It Up, Stuck In My Head.

Charli xcx - Vroom Vroom
85

Vroom Vroom was Charli's entry point to PC Music, the artist together with SOPHIE who produced the EP, deliver uncontrolled and hyper bangerz music, bringing a new to pop music.

Best: Vroom Vroom, Paradise, Trophy, Secret (Shh).

Ariana Grande - Dangerous Woman
75

Dangerous Woman is a very safe pop record, taking no chances and not looking for anything new, but its crystalline production and captivating choruses show that Ariana Grande and her team of producers managed to deliver a good pop album with memorable songs like the great "Into You" a of my favorite pop songs from the last few years.

Best: Into You, Touch It, Dangerous Woman, Leave Me Lonely, Moonlight, Greedy, Be Alright, Let Me Love You, Knew Better / Forever Boy, Thinking Bout You.

75

In "Rainbow" Kesha sings about her demons and difficult experiences that the artist went through, she has her best dense and motivating lyrics, Rainbow is also fun, her most authentic work mixing different musical styles with a psychedelic and rock and roll ropping.

Best: Bastards, Let 'Em Talk, Hymn, Praying, Learn To Let Go, Rainbow, Boots, Old Flames (Can't Hold a Candle To You), Spaceship.

Poppy - Choke
65

This cute and metal concept that Poppy has been bringing in his latest projects is quite creative and interesting, but unfortunately the songs have not captivated me so much, I can't find anything but good songs and nothing else.

Best: Choke, Scary Mask (feat. FEVER 333).

Halsey - Manic
65

The first time I heard it I liked it more than now, today I only listen to one song or another, in general it is a decent pop album with a pleasant production and common lyrics and sometimes even cliches but in some ways sincere like that of "Ashley" one of the highlights of the LP.

Best: Ashley, Graveyard, You should be sad, Finally // beautiful stranger.

Kylie Minogue - Kylie
40

Kylie Minogue's first album is basically just another teen LP with bubblegum pop songs from the era, it doesn't have much to add about it, it's an album I heard just to get to know her discography more deeply and I won't listen again.

Best: I Should Be So Lucky, The Loco-Motion.

Lady Gaga - Born This Way
70

Born This Way is a very significant album in the LGBT community, the title track and first working single from the era literally helped save lives for its message, Born This Way also made the Catholic Church turn its nose at GaGa once again, the artist mentions Jesus Christ several times on the album and the release of Judas as a single at Easter time infuriated Christians a lot and we know this is great, Born This Way is important in her message and her Electronic/EDM production is quite ... read more

Solange - When I Get Home
85

Songs that contain only a single sentence, interludes and short tracks, Solange delivers us a minimalist and sophisticated work, mixing jazz, hip hop and R&B, and together with the disc film with a very fashion and minimalist aesthetic the experience that this The record brings is very relaxing and I would say even chic, at the same time that it reminds me of something that would play in expensive restaurants I could also attribute the music of parades of autura costura.

Best: Stay Flo, ... read more
