It may not be as effective as the last record but it's still a brilliant blast of IDLES. Don't ignore it even if it has some low moments the highs are worth all of it. The intro by itself is warrant for listening to the entire album. IT's brilliant but falls apart in places like reigns, ne touche pas moi and the lover. Everything else is pretty much hot fire punk brilliance. Just wish they re-worked some of the tracks a little more.
Its really glittery and it sounds brilliant but the lyrics are melodramatic and unearned. Just feels like an mcr call back without anything that made the black parade an amazing album. Sure it has hits and good songs like the opener be my end but other than that they don't do anything special with the sound and the lyrics are just yuck. Sounds great but the lyrics ruined it.
Probably the best griselda album which meshes the brilliant hard hitting rap lyricism with good hooks and song structure and an emotional core to the album which will make any hardernd gangsta cry. Brilliant project, would be better if the first 2 songs had some better production and if conway could have done more storytelling rather than coke rap.
Blu and Exile give us one of the best hiphop projects of the year with a hour and a half of pure hiphop brilliance with track after track of verses and true hiphop. Every single instrumental and beat on this album is on point every verse that blu spits is at the top of his pen game this is absoloutely gorgeous writing and rapping.

Begin To Hope is a collection of ballady singer songwriter jams that has an incredibly starting kick off which eventually fizzles out into mediocre piano ballads. I'd say the first 4 songs is the greatest part of this album as Fidelity is a beautiful introduction to the album and perfectly sets up the tone and mood going through while better is a lovely indie rock tinted jam with a brilliant chorus.
The real issue with the album is lack of musical variety from song to song and the lack of ... read more
Pretty great project, just regular rap brilliance from the trio.
Sometimes you just don't like an album and no matter how hard you try to like it you just fail.
Nice washed up rockstar vibe love the psych pop sound
WEYYY they changed the style while keeping there identity and sounding great. Nice lol.
Exceptionally Brilliantly average. His label is terrible and this sound was dated by the time it came out, I'm sorry this happend to u mr tree.
wow they made ANOTHER GREAT ALBUM like actually what the fuck there so consistent so far whats going on?
"Not as iconic and amazing but still consistent and enjoyable with more deviancy and emotional songwriting"
