This album is a brilliant personal conffesionary about religion. It falls short on some of the deep cuts on the secound half but that dosen't limit it from being one of the greatest albums i have ever listend to.
Amazing start falls apart completly. But jesus christ campaign for a better weekend is such a perfect song.
I just don't like how it sounds. The indie sound is just done to death now and bores me.
This is just a bunch of freestyles with amazing Katranada beats. Check it out if u jus want some bars from a good rapper. The vocal effect he has over his voice at all times is sorta annoying though.
Oh look another really good hip hop album lit. Nothing special about it but it is an entertaining jazz rap album that can fit into literally any summer playlist. Check it if u just like hip-hop in general but this ain't no classic. It's got that limes sound where it could fit into a lofi hip hop playlist. the instrumentals sound great and he flows amazingly over them all. There isn't anything bad to say about this album, it's just that it's not anything bigger than some random hiphop album. It ... read more
Kane train. He spit. Regualr stuff yaknow freddie gibbs spits bars the features spit its calm relaxing rnb flipped into hard hitting hip hop regular stuff blah blah its really good.
best tracks-frank lucas, something to rap about
worst tracks- none they all flames.
Is this like bastard in the 80s lol. So this is supoused to be like teenage folk punk stuff about being a teen in the 90's but honestly i don't qet it. The best moments are when the energy just surges in a chatoic mess like in prove my love or add it up which are the most exciting tracks on the album. Most of this album is just sort of the main singer wanting to get with some girl and failing. my only over exposure to folk punk is through ajj so this was a little less manic to what im used to. ... read more
This sound is overdone and just bland. The indie rock sound they mess with here has been done so many times before and better. Their are some generally good songs here but it's not worth it. You can skip this and be absolutely fine.
"You know how greta van fleet is basiacly a cover band of led zepplin
catfish and the bottlemen is basiacly a cover band of artic monkeys"
The 1975 and consistent are not normally in the same sentence at this point they are. This album is exactly what i wanted from them. This is nowhere near greatness as some say but it's an amazing improvement. I really think they properly came into their own and made a brilliant album. Give yourself a try has a tinny guitar that is somehow amazingly charming and the love songs on this one don't seem vapid and pointless. their actully a lil wholesome sometimes. Its not the best thing ever but its ... read more
This was very front ended and i din't want it to be. IT has some really good glitzy pop songs on the front end but falls apart after if i believe you which is just ya hey but delivered worse and with a 90s rnb instrumental. The electro ambient songs really don't work for the 1975 and somebody else/the sound are so goddamn bland. Atleast somebody else is nice and catchy. Love me and ugh are SO FUCKING GOOOD i love themm. The old school discoey vibe is so brilliant. The rest sorta falls back and ... read more
This is just there. It's nice teen love songs with a synthpop feel to it. The drum sound is unique and sounds really cool but this is honestly nothing special. This album is not bad but i dont feel like i will ever come back to it. The only track that feels compelling enough to come back to it "the city" purely because of the really gritty synth base on it that makes it feel unique. The song topics get a bit boring midway through. Since its just lots of love and 17 year old women the ... read more
Yeah no I don't like this. The album is trying to pull of this style where its pulling electronic elements into this sorta old schooly medivialy feel. It very much dosen't work for me or the album. I think the only song where this aesthetic actully worked was the secound song and best song on the album "goddess". Most of the electronic songs sorta go nowhere and feel bland. Like they really don't go anywhere. Aquira is probably the best of the instrumental songs because it starts ... read more
"The Bible 2" is a journey through the main singers mania and memories where fuzzy blown out guitars are met with manic singing and beautiful strings.
The albums instrumentals jump from overblown fuzz folk to quiet moments of sorrow. The albums brilliance forms from the chaotic and manic backing instrumentals complementing "sean Bonnette"s choatic singing and lyrics. The produced fuzz over every part of this album is used to try and give a manic feeling all around and it ... read more
Some nice instrumental hiphop. He's got a really unique sound that i love. Like splashy voices.
