JPEGMAFIA - Manic!

I mean yeah I heard this years ago as a leak of LP! but still it’s good to see it’s finally out. My only major issue is the mixing. Even after 3 years of it being leaked, it still sounds the same as it was when it’s finally released.. sure.

Milo - who told you to think??!!?!?!?!

hello, been a long time since I sat down and wrote an actual review rather than just a short but straight to the point one liner.

wtytt!?!?!? by Milo is one of my personal favorite rap albums ever. Abstract hip hop is a genre I enjoy a lot since it’s the type of music you often think about even when not listening to it. Where this album shines the most is definitely in its lyricism and wordplay, but that is not to say that the instrumentation of this record isn’t stellar, so ... read more

The Mars Volta - Frances the Mute

hey you can’t drive a car wearing that!!

Talking Heads - Fear of Music

a fusion of disco and rock that is just oh so groovy.

Lovejoy - One Simple Trick
NR

am I going crazy or does he sound a little like Alex Turner here.

A Tribe Called Quest - The Low End Theory
98

the pinnacle of conscious jazz rap. mellow with its instrumentals, playful with its lyrics, and just enough quirky to stand out.

De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising

I’m a sucker for fun albums and this is the funnest an album can get.

Geese - Getting Killed

I don’t usually support animal cruelty, but this rocks.

Cameron Winter - Heavy Metal
100

I can’t help but think that Cameron Winter is a singer-songwriter from the 80s that somehow time traveled to the 2020s and just continued to make songs. It feels like these songs have already existed for decades, and that makes this sound strangely nostalgic despite being released in 2024, and I mean that in the best way possible.

Magdalena Bay - Second Sleep / Star Eyes

And they just keep getting better??????

Danny Brown - Starburst

OwO what’s this!?

Michael Jackson - Off the Wall

Probably the most grooviest record of all time, and definitely the BEST disco album ever!!

"As someone who adores this album, I can see why people can think it’s lacking and empty. To me, I like this album because of my own personal memories attached to it. I come back to this a lot to chill out and be calm almost like a “safe place” and I think that’s why most people like this album too. Still, I see why you’d view this album differently. Great review tho!!"
